Sahara Grill

The smoothies here are the worst I’ve ever had. All of them just taste like banana, which isn’t a bad thing. But when you’re ordering and paying for a tropical smoothie it’s not a good thing.
If you’re ordering a drink just get juice, something fizzy, or water.
The steaks here are good but I can’t believe they’re charging £3.50 for mushroom sauce — which isn’t particularly good.
On the other hand, I do enjoy their tilapia dish. It’s nice and creamy and even my difficult to please mother enjoyed it.

Good food in pleasant clean surroundings. Service is good too. Chicken is always moist and well spiced. Been there a few times and they haven’t had an off day yet. Could be cheaper though. Basically it’s a nicer and Halal version of Nando’s.

Good food though prices not the cheapest. Sometimes you are greeted by friendly staff, at other times not. I normally go for the Sahara XXL Burger which I cannot fault. The wings are also quite nice. The nice thing about Sahara is you can see the grill, most of their stuff is grilled.
Nice once in a while. Standards were always met in terms of food quality. Be aware that they close at prayer times. It is a little out of the way for most people but worth the drive once in awhile. They are also child friendly which makes a difference. Their menu is very rigid and they don’t like people chopping and changing which I find strange, worth a try.

Sahara grill is a great retaurant. The sell a variety of foods such as kebabs and chicken. Its great to visit for special occasions. There are massive tables that you can reserve. Its all vegetarian.

I have been to the Sahara grill once with my mum and two sisters and I was bitterly disappointed. The staff seemed rude and arrogant from the set go. They were not friendly and to be frank they seemed too busy socializing with each other than bothering with the customers. The food was nice but again very pricey considering the size of the portions. Also the atmosphere could have been vastly improved. As well as the waiters sweaty ego’s drifting around the chairs were uncomfortable and it felt as though we were sitting in a high street chicken shop. Would have been better off going to Nando’s. I do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you take the food away.
