Sainsbury’s

Newly opened up Sainsburys. Did the area need another Sainsburys? Not at all, there’s at least 3 on Clapham Road already. But I like the new branch all the same. The stock range is slighter bigger than the one right by my house, it’s squeaky clean and the staff are super friendly. This branch was super quiet atfirst but has quickly become fairly busy… So I see I’m not the only person who’s a fan!

I realised I had become a real adult when I got excited over a new Sainsbury’s opening right next to Stockwell station.
This is another metro-​sized supermarket, so don’t get too excited. There are some fairly glaring gaps in the produce on offer (where the feck is the spinach?!), but overall there’s a pretty good selection including an in-​store bakery, fruit and veg, dairy, alcohol, and a small home supplies section.
The store is reasonably well laid-​out, although it gets particularly crammed at busier times (i.e. 6−8pm on weekdays). That said, I’ve never had a long wait at the checkouts.
The convenience of this store has made it my new go-​to, and I’m pretty sure it’ll stay that way for a while.
