Dropped my S4 at Buckingham Palace and shattered the glass. Dang it!!! It’s still usable but wanted to see if I could get it foxed here instead of waiting. Well… the can fix it to the tune of $ 200USD. It probably won’t be much cheaper in the US but at least if something goes wrong, I could come back. They had a lot of phones that we don’t have in the US, like the S4 Mini. I wanted to buy everything!!!

My Macbook Pro died a few weeks ago. After some soul searching I decided that this was one too many hardware failures in four years, and after 18 years loyalty it was time to go Mac free for a while. After some Internet searching I had more or less decided on a Samsung RF-510(similar specs to a new Macbook Pro, but at less than half the price!). I was delighted to find that Samsung has it’s own flagship store in Tottenham Court Road. The store is beautiful, think a smaller version of the Apple store, and the laptops look great(it’s amazing how much better they look here, than in some of the more generic tech stores up and down the street). The staff are friendly, but not super knowledgeable(sort of standard for most of the street actually — and no different from the Apple store). A very friendly and pleasant shopping experience.
