Samuel da Silva Photography

I booked samuel for my engagement party at the bickley manor hotel, and I am extremely happy with the photographs that samuel took for us. He captured every part of our day, even in the snow where we were all freezing cold! He stayed professional throughout the night and even helped my sister in law with her photography for that night. Before the party samuel was very keen on knowing the traditional ceremony procedures so that he was best prepared and ready for the night. Some photographers will not even do this. The finished album was a huge success and samuel was very cooperative with the amendments that I wanted due to personal preference. His photographs were amazing and just to our taste! Communication with samuel was very easy and prompt. I received everything on time as agreed. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely consider him for future occasions. Thank you samuel for all your hard work.

After meeting with another 2 wedding photographers, me and my new husband took the decision to go with Samuel. It was a really easy decision as Samuel came across as the most professional and reliable of the photographers we met.
On our wedding day Samuel was really friendly, not only with us but with all our guests. We had lots of good comments about him from our family and friends.
The best part of it was when we received our photographs. We were amazed with the results and we couldn’t stop looking at them!
We would recommend Samuel to anyone who’s looking for a wedding photographer as we couldn’t thank him enough for what he’s done for our family.

We were very disappointed with the photos we received from Samuel Da Silva for the following reasons:
1) It took about 45 days for our wedding photos to be provided to us.
2) We were promised 400 photos but received less than the number agreed to. Instead, he tried to make up numbers by providing us the same photos in black and white, in addition to colour.
3) A large number of the photos taken both indoors and outdoors were overexposed. Most of the the lighting issues could be fixed relatively easily with software, available free online. While we’re not experts, it took is very little time to fix these lighting errors ourselves. What is disappointing is that he did not take the time to fix these himself, even though he was late in delivering the photos. It seemed that he had just downloaded the photos from the camera’s memory card to CD.
Overall we received amateurish photos and we would not recommend him to our friends.
