No menu. Delicious food. All of the food is great. Attentive owner. Cute and cozy. Not pretentious. And the best part. You’ll leave full and liquored up without breaking the bank! I love this place. Definitely a gem. Just a note. The owner treats this place like his home. So yes it’s his rules or the highway. Just submit to the experience. He knows his shit. You’ll enjoy it!

My girlfriend and I ate here last week and really enjoyed the experience and the food ! They dont really have a menu just three options — meat, vegetarian or vegan. Once you choose one they bring loads of small portioned dishes out in three/four courses. At £10.50 each the amount of food we got was great value, more than we could eat and a good selection. The beer‘s a bit pricey at £5 a bottle(even if its a large bottle) and the wine is £2.50 a glass. The waiter was really friendly and charming and we‘ll def go back again.

I have to say the best thing about this place was the service. The waiter was very attentive and even gave me some mint grown from his garden in Cyprus to take home. I’ve eaten a lot of Greek food and I think overall it was hit and miss for me. Some of the starters and dips were really good, the main course let it down for me though. The chicken was nice, but the lamb and pork were not my thing at all. I might go again as it’s very local but it’s not my favourite place.

Although the place might not look that appealing from outside, the food is simply amazing. We come here quite often, whenever we feel like healthy home-cooked food. You get a great deal of lovely food for less than £10 per person, and it’s seriously amazing. I have been here with a few Greek friends, and they all loved it. It feels really authentic, the owner is a really nice guy, always very friendly.

The owner asked us to leave because we were not ordering alcohol. He offered us £10 after we sat down, but we left in disgust.

A lot of seemingly biased or friends/family written reviews here. This place is bad. Nice people but food is massively sub-standard. Sorry. Bad. Large beers are 5 quid each so 9.50 per person quickly esculates.

We’ve been coming here for years. It’s not your usual greek restaurant — there’s no menu, just one price for a multi-course serving where there’s simmply loads of food that is always good. The price has hardly risen in the last few years, last time I think it was £10 per head — hard to beat! The old greek fellow who runs the place is a great guy and always pleased to see regular customers. His daughter who works there could concentrate a bit harder on serving rather than chatting, but it’s not the kind of place you go to for top service! Nice selection of greek beers and wines too. Beware: they don’t take cards — only cash and cheques!

I have two friends who swear by this place. In fact they rave about it. He says the meat is amazing, she says it’s charming. So off I went on their recommendation. I didn’t get it, not at all. It’s actually almost charmless with very little atmosphere and not-good-enough-to be-excused food. It’s a meze restaurant — we ordered mixed vegetable mezze — it included luke warm cauliflour cheese and a small bowl with two button mushrooms drowning in oil(what?!). And the wine was the sort best left on the 2-for-£3 shelf. If you think charm lies in people serving entirely random but awful food, then it has buckets of it. And yes I did chuckle, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone pay for the experience.
