We have a seafood feast every time we come here. Oysters, mussels, lobster, etc My favourite will always be the seared scallops and tuna tartare, it’s always a double order for me. Service is great, as expected from a 5 star restaurant. My friend loved the burrata appetizer and her husband always orders the sea bass. Prices are high, be warned.

Upscale, classy ambiance. But not stuffy. The fish and seafood was some of the best I’ve ever had … They also have a small sidewalk patio for outside dining on those few days when it’s not raining in London. I would recommend reservations as even for lunch they seemed to be completely committed.

Had dinner at Scott’s this week… here are my thoughts: Ambiance is great. The restaurant is beautiful, well lit, and very clean. Service is also great. Our party of 7 was well taken care of and food came out relatively quickly. Food was overall quite good. My John Dory was perfectly cooked and the accompaniments were small but prepared well. My husband had Halibut which I thought was excellent, but he said it wasn’t super fresh. Other dinner guests enjoyed their lobster, seabass, and shrimp. I didn’t taste those so I can’t comment, but they certainly looked delicious. Prices are quite high so be prepared! Overall I think Scott’s is good in every way except for their unnecessarily high prices. We may return since we stay nearby.

Simple, elegant and classical are the best words to describe this long-time favourite. Although my champagne was served a bit warm, the overall dinner service was good. The barman was very friendly and made sure the drinks were coming while my guests arrived late. I had the Dover sole which was absolutely delicious and made for perfect finish to a long hard day. I recommend you go early(6.30 pm) because the place is not so crowded and by the time you sit the place fills up nicely. Bravo!

Yum! We randomly chose Scott’s for dinner while we were in London. The scene is business casual and quite honestly, there were a lot of suits. We enjoyed a seat at the bar and had the oysters, fish on the bone, burrata appetizer and the marinated salmon. All of which were amazing! So delicious. I would come back again!

Heard so much about Scott’s and was excited to experience the restaurant first hand. There is no doubt that the food is incredible. My fish was cooked to perfection. The glazed carrots were the best I have tried. Service was excellent. A great place for a special occasion.

I gave this place a shot after reading some good reviews here. I was aiming for good and fresh seafood. I had the monkfish and snails as my starter/appetizer and sea bass as my main dish. I was disappointed. The monkfish itself was good but the sauce they mixed with it was too salty. The sea bass was one of their most expensive dish in the entrée list. It came only with the fish. A lot of oil was used to pan fry it and it was too salty as well. I like strong flavor but this was definitely overdone. Overall, it was not easy to find a seafood restaurant with good reviews in London. I went to J Sheeky as well. I guess seafood is not London’s strengths in general.

Good seafood restaurant — it is a landmark restaurant if London and I still go. Although I prefer j sheeky for quality of sea food, this is not a bad place. Would try at least once and see it your self. I get razor clams and sea bass here. For soil, I still go to bentley’s.

Fish there is impeccable, and it’s not as expensive as I thought, but the oyster is just average I have to say cuz I’m a real oyster lover and have tried lot of oyster bars in London. And, the reception guy and some waiter is kind of icy, maybe it’s their style to be aloof? Overall, great place for seafood!

Delicious fish and incredible deserts! Try the turbo for 2 or the sole. Oh and do not miss the honeycomb ice cream with hot chocolate or the apple pie! Great service. Make sure you reserve weeks in advance or you will not easily get a table.

Amazing service from the moment you arrive at the front door! We were walking around this upscale part of London and asked a random couple for a good place to eat. They immediately said«Scott’s! It’s probably the best restaurant of London». We were sold. I was still in my «travel outfit» and a bit embarrassed to go in to this nice looking restaurant in bright blue tennis shoes, but the gentleman at the door was very kind and said«the staff has a dress code here, not our guests.» So we went on it and despite being a busy Saturday night we got seated quickly. The waiter was attentive and very nice, and the lobster spaghetti was delicious! Lobster in every bite. And the outdoor patio seating topped it off! If you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy good seafood, this is the place to be.

Truly just WOW. This was the best 3 course meal I have ever had in my life. My friend treated me to a birthday meal here on Friday. Well, your not 26 everyday! I started with the Bass ceviche with jalapeño and avacado… which wsd utterly delicious, all the flavours worked so well! Then I had the Fillet of River Esk sea trout… which I have to admit, I randomly picked… it was the kind of dish you never want to end… and to finish. even though I was positively stuffed, I had the Vanilla cheesecake with blush apricots. and the biscuit part of the cheesecake I was especially impressed with… quite often the biscuit part is either non existent or soggy! This was actual biscuit. Hard and crunchy and a taste of ginger. All in all, best meal ever ever ever.

My wife and I had great expectations but we were treated as non-entities by an aloof and snobbish staff who, for some inexplicable reason, determined before we arrived that our money was not as good as others’. The food was quite good, but we might have been inclined to order more had someone evinced the slightest interest. And, in case anyone is asking — and no one did — yes, we would very much like another glass of wine. We did enjoy the shock on our waiter’s face when we had had enough and abruptly requested the check. We went elsewhere for dessert, obviously. This was a special night for us, and if we had been treated with a modicum of respect it would have been a memorable occasion. We were disappointed.

This is the big sister of another of my favourites: 34. Don’t go here for the sexy people! …well, if zimmerframes, fur coats, bankers in casual suits and triple nose jobs is your thing? Please do! …no, it’s a good place. I mean, if you are not scared of the bill? It’s a great place! Do go here for amazing oysters, great champagne and fakking awesome Dover Sole… and very good service. We had: — Really good dirty martini’s(not too salty, just right) — Never-too-many, many native oysters — Dover Sole and Cod. …The Dover Sole won! Sides were very, very good too. Spinach was very tasty and the fries were too good… i finished them. Swooooosh went my no-carb-diet… Also the baby potatoes, i’m sure they have their own potato-pusher-man, that walks in every day and deals them in alley in the back. So good, sweet, full, buttery and they almost popped in my mouth like pees! So good, must be illegal. The side with beans was gone before i had a chance… looked good! Thanks baby,.gggrr… My Bearnaise sauce was waiting, i didn’t go for it, afraid i would see the bottom of that dish too, too soon. The Sole was very close to the best i had, better than Bentleys… sorry! And i loved that Sole! The cod was on My Love’s plate, and he was happy, but also very happy he could eat of my plate too. I’m back! BAM! OH!!! I forgot about the cheeeeese… the cheese… Yep, i will wait at the backdoor tomorrow, and i’ll write down the names of the potato-pusher and the cheese-dealer for you guys… damn, that blue cheese… Damn you! Now i remember, i finished that plate. have to call my trainer… pppfff…

Came here for a birthday dinner and thought the whole experience was lovely. The service is extremely attentive and the waiter made great recommendations. We ordered the sea bass and the john dory and both were very well prepared and delicious. I am usually not a huge fan of fish because it tends to be lacking in flavor, but the chef did a great job of bringing out the delicate flavors in these dishes. Fun story: We were seated next to a super cute elderly couple who were celebrating their anniversary. They looked so in love so we asked them what is the secret to a great marriage, and the gentleman told us: always keep your wife happy! There you have it lads, plain and simple. :)

Scotts for me is the ultimate place to go for a snazzy night out in Central London. From the moment you walk in you’re blown away by the scale and buzz of the place. The oyster bar situated in the middle, the sumptuous décor. It’s a real class restaurant. The menu is a great mixture of old classics and the odd fun thing. Stargazey Pie always delivers. But if you want a simply griddled turbot with hollandaise you can get that too, although you pay for it. Extensive wine list, busy but professional waiters(they could be a bit friendlier in my book) and a place that you can sit back and watch the glitterati of Mayfair do their thing in stylish and comfortable surroundings. A real treat. Very expensive. Birthdays and special occasions only I would suggest unless you’re minted. But every trip there has been a good one for me.

This place lives up to my fellow Unilocalers’ prior raves. It is a rather pricey, upscale place, a true restaurant for grown-ups. Yet it is relaxed and conducive to conversation. It attracts a nicely dressed, mostly middle-aged crowd. I was visiting London and had dinner with a former colleague who was in town for her company. We started with the potted shrimp and the chargrilled squid. The former was delicious, a heap of tiny shrimp mixed with anchovies, butter and herbs, salty and delectable spread on the toasts with which it was served. The squid was perfect, tender and nicely charred at the edges. We both had dover sole, but prepared in two different ways, both off the bone. She had hers simply grilled and mine was sauteed and served with a decadently buttery meuniere sauce. That was one of the best pieces of fish I have ever eaten. So firm and perfectly cooked. Mmmmm. I also had a side order of creamed spinach that easily bested the versions I have had a t some really good US steakhouses. We finished the meal with a truly outstanding dessert, the plum pie. This is no normal fruit pie, mind you. It is an individual, round pie with the crispest, sweetest pastry encasing ripe, luscious end-of-summer plums that retained some of their structure and all of their sweet juice. A dessert to be remembered! I loved this place. The service is highly competent — polite without being overly intrusive. If I had to nitpick about one small thing, it was the wait before we had to ask for the bill. A small qualm! Overall, highly recommend this place and cannot wait to go back my next trip to London.
