Escape rooms seem to be popping up all around London, and they aren’t cheap so they really need to stand out. Before visiting Secret Studio I’d been to Hint Hunt and loved it, so I was a little sceptical that this would be stack up. How wrong I was. The difference with the Secret Studio and Hint Hunt was the atmosphere. From the moment your ring the doorbell the scene is set. The actor involved makes sure you feel part of the game, and once you’re in the room the lighting and sound completely immerses you within the journey. I won’t spoil anything, but what I will also say is that the props and elements used for your adventure continue to surprise. Full marks from me. My time there was a joy from start to end!

Great escape room with a magnificent set. It’s clear these guys come from a film making background as the set is one of the most impressive I’ve come across. The puzzles were good, although possibly a few too many with the result that we were hurried along with clues when we hadn’t finished searching the room thoroughly. Would recommend for people who’ve played before or newbies who don’t mind a bit of a challenge.

This is one of the best escape rooms I have done to date. Basically without giving too much away the story is based around a murder. You have to work your way through by working out puzzles to solve the mystery. Sometimes some of the puzzles need all of you to work on it at the same time. There is more than one room that you get to experience and solve clues in. Its all very retro. If you ever get stuck with any of the puzzles then Oscar is on hand to help and guide you just ask him a question and you will see his typed up response on a monitor. He also praises members of the team or the whole group if you are doing particularly well. We escaped the room in 57 minutes. I highly recommend to anyone that loves escape rooms, a good story and retro items.
