I have to admit that I’ve (luckily) had the exact opposite experience as the other reviewer… I’ve been coming here for just around two years and have always had a great experience.
First of this isn’t your average dentist… while I believe they will do standard dental work, this is really a cosmetic dentistry so if you’re just after a check-​up it may be better to try elsewhere.
Above said, if you require anything cosmetic this could be the place for you… side note, and there’s always exceptions, but it’s usually a mistake to go to a standard dentist for cosmetic work… you don’t go to McDonald’s if you want a steak after all!
I love the facility itself… it’s very clean, modern, and has a spa feel to it. The area it is in, on Wimpole St., is also a quite nice area to stroll through and easy to get to from Bond Street. (Although it’s always so hard to walk past Meat Liquor and not pop in following a cleaning or check-​up at Sensu!)
For me I’ve always had good luck with the various members of staff… from the receptionist, to the hygienist, to the doctors themselves it’s always been 100% positive and smiles from start to finish with a bottle of water always offered from reception on arrival… beyond that they always work with my crazy schedule and have been very flexible with my Invisalign appointments. (I work out of the country off and on so it’s not always easy to keep to a laid out schedule.)
Speaking of schedule, they also stay open a bit later than you would expect so it’s not unusual to get a 7pm appointment if needed and I think they even do Saturday appointments.
I can’t speak to other treatments, but for me at least (a long course of Invisalign) they were cheaper than my first attempt here in London (don’t even get me started on that horror show of a place!) and even the place I inquired into up in York. I was shocked and looking for the catch, because this place seemed far more high end and professional than the other practice I first went to, but nearing the end of my treatment and having paid in full it doesn’t seem there was one… they were simply cheaper despite the other place being on «offer» at the time. (Price of course is relative to what it is you’re having done and how much you’re willing to shop around, just speaking of my one experience a few years back.)
Hopefully the other reviewer just ran into someone on an off day, or maybe even someone no longer there, etc… I really hate that they had such a bad experience as I would whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosmetic dentistry practice.
