Definitely the best paper shop in London. You can get a wide range of different papers. Might be a bit pricy but a lot of the things here you will not be able to find it anywhere else in London. I found out they have some interesting binding workshops as well. Haven’t tried it but it looks pretty cool.

Was in need of some Sumi-e Japanese Paper and other mulberry papers and had a chance to visit this fine paper store in central London. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable and helped me sort out what I needed right away. A fine assortment of hand made papers from all over the world including papers with sizing added for craft/calligraphy and in our case batik on paper projects. Will be back!

Imagine having a shop just to sell paper. And what lovely paper at that… Stunning! Paper for cards, paper for arts. Paper for printers. Lots of pretty colours. And they have many different collections of different papers, like Indian, Chinese, Arts and Craft. Fancy that! I did actually splurge on some dishy Indian-style papers, fairly well-priced. And happy staff to boot. Well worth a gander…

Specialist in handmade paper from all over the world, the textures and patterns are very global. I love the french paper collection, so very artistic and its got a Louis VI style. Other styles are Indian miniature, Chinese, Japanese and english morris. This is of course at a high price. The provide a paper binding service too, takes about 15 days for delivery. Specialists in book binding and other such paper stationary related items. If you want to learn the craft then an internship at this shop is sensible.

Falkiner Fine Papers sells a range of beautiful papers for art, writing and decorative purposes. The shop itself is handsome as the paper. I’ve only bought paper for writing and the cards, which are handmade and great for birthday and new years cards when you’re trying to impress. The staff are polite, and seem knowledgable about their goods. Even, if you’re not buying anything if you are in the area it’s worth stopping by just to look in at their products.
