I’m never one to agree with majority so I’m not going to start now. My mum is over 50 and a ‘granny’ but she has never found anything in Shoon for herself. Her wardrobe is a mixture of Zara, French Connection, Joseph, Monsoon and H&M. Anyway enough about my stylish mum, Shoon is an odd shop because I’m not sure who their customers are meant to be. I have never bought anything in there and don’t don’t know anyone who has. Shoon must be doing something right though because the previous business was Gap. Personally I would’ve preferred it if Gap was still on Marylebone High Street– at least they do good basics. Maybe something Shoon should consider.

How can I describe Shoon? Well basically its trendy clothes for Grannies. Its for women who like to have stylish clothes but have matured past H&M styles for example. How did I come upon this observation… well everyone in there was on the other side of 50 and there was nothing in there that would suite someone in their 20s. It carries women’s wear clothes accessories shoes and strangely enough men’s shoes, nothing else for men just the shoes… nope I don’t get it either. They do specialise in shoes so if you are looking for a comfortable fit it might be worth looking here.

Ha haa I would so agree with the description of Melissa, Shoon is so about trendy clothes for grannies! I browsed around every section of this department store, good selection of shoes, the accessories the clothes, and could not find a single thing that I really liked. I do think it is great that they stock some more smaller labels but I suppose it all comes to the selection. For me the colours and prints were just like from another decade. Also seeing some Orla is always for me just a complete turn off.
