Silom Village does not boast with expensive and rich décor as many of the Thai restaurants do, but offers friendly service and satisfying delicious food.
The meals are great. We had prawn crackers and soup for starters. I had Tom Yum Goong which was perfect and then shared 2 dishes for mains: a salmon dish with red curry sauce called Pla Chu Chi and a traditional Chicken Green Curry. The green curry was so spicy for me, that I wasn’t able to finish it, but Pla Chu Chi was one of the most delicious dishes I’ve tried in Thai cuisine. Thai iced tea is quite refreshing and is a good alternative to lemonade. All in all, lovely experience, would definitely recommend!

Best Thai restaurant in Ealing! Really good value, delicious food & very authentic(from what we ate on a recent trip to Thailand) Highly recommend.

Saw this restaurant the first time when I was in a car and went to XX-XX Noodle Bar thought it was Silom Village by mistake. Finally went to the right one last night and ordered Yen Ta Fo, couldn’t I found this dish(flat rice noodle in pink soup) in London! The food and the drink were good and authentic, very good service as well. One more thing, there were a table of 5 kept making a lot noises, clapping, shouting, laughing… Obviously the manager noticed that and went to their table and pointed to the«no noise» sign, good for him!

I adore this place. It doesn’t matter how amazing you are if I can’t afford you. Food to me will never be worth it. You can drizzle this and foam that, but all I want is a good meal, good service and not to feel like I’ve been ripped off. On the Mrs recommendation we popped in here for dinner one night. Not having a lot of experience with Thai food at the time(aside from a Thai curry here and there in random pubs — what’s with that trend) so I was a bit sceptical. The restaurant is canteen style. Individual tables but with bright simple furniture and accent pieces on the walls. This place is busy, but not overbearingly so. They offer a take away service so there were lots of people ordering at the counter at the back to take away that Thai goodness. We started with Tempura, which was divine. Second best I’ve ever had after Feng Sushi on the South Bank. We also had a selection of veggie nibbles which were all really interesting. For mains I had Pad Thai and she a red Thai curry. Both were gorgeous. Large, generous portions and simply but pretty presentation. There was a lovely woman serving us. She spoke barely any English but was delightful, attentive and had a warm and welcoming smile. Safe to say she’s always had good tips from us. The best thing of all was the bill. Starters, mains and drinks all at around £22. I may be cheap, but the food was not. All fantastic quality and amazing value.

Cheap and Good Un-anglicised thai food. Decent heat if that’s your game. Super nice servers. Consistent. It would be a 4 if the quality of meat was better. Say… not using minced chicken or ground beef for most of your dishes would help.

Very good value for Money. Large offer on the menu including Malaysian dishes. Singha beer. Décor is rather boring. Nothing Thai there so that’s a bit of a let down. Service is basic but friendly. Duck curry was nice. Mix platter as a starter was not very orginal. Rice is ok. All in all a good Thai but don’t expect much as this is rather cheap.

Very good place. We at work always go there. The best thing about the place is you can ask them to prepare any dish with veg options such as Tofu/Beancurd. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to Silom Village since I arrived in London and my friends show it to me. Love it. Great food, reasonable prices, nice staff, busy most nights but I’ve never struggled for a table, nice staff, non-pretentious surroundings, just around the corner from Ealing Broadway tube. Probably my favourite Thai restaurant.

A solid Thai place at the quiet end of Ealing Broadway, with big portions for not lots of money. I went over on a Sunday lunchtime and it was quite busy — still tables but a good number of people in. I had the lunch special Massaman curry, which was big and had rice included for £5.95, and a Hot and Sour soup, which was excellent with a tasty building heat rather than the immediate slap in the face you sometimes get. The menu offers to switch out any meat in almost every dish for tofu or vegetables, so vegetarians shouldn’t find it too hard to find something interesting. Anyways, I’ll be back next time I’m wandering around Ealing Broadway and need some lunch, as well as if I fancy Thai in the evening.

Extremely good value for money. Haven’t been in a year or so, however, everything that was not on the specials menu was less than £5. Great portions, fresh ingredients. Can’t go wrong.

Hmmm … Reasonably priced good food. It is laid back, kewl and dopee enviornment. Food is average. I would check it out.

I have to admit, I wanted to try this place b/c I read about the to-die-for calamari. Although it was quite tasty, I know I’ve had better. Still, if you’re looking for starters, try the fluffy calamari and chicken satay. The peanut sauce has a good kick to it! I love that the restaurant is just around the corner from my flat. I can eat in or order for take-away. The menu is quite extensive, and so far, I’ve enjoyed every bite I’ve taken there =) I’ve already recommended a couple of starters. Whether you’re into chicken, beef or pork, the basil and chili combo is a wise entrée to order(I’m not sure if there’s a vegetarian option). The pad thai is a palate pleaser, although I’m more keen to order a different noodle dish the next time. If anyone has any noodle suggestions, please let me know. And if you’ve tried the coconut rice, AND it tastes good, again, please let me know.

This is one of the best Thai restuarants in the area, simply because they produce consistently tasty food, with very generous portions at a very reasonable price. It’s always popular but you can usually get a table without waiting, except on Friday and Saturday where most places in Ealing are very busy and there may be a delay of a few minutes. It seems to be a family run venue, and although there are not a lot of staff they seem to stay constantly busy and you won’t have to wait to order.

Once again, a Thai restaurant in Ealing that’s better than the average. The menu is large and completely Thai. Portions are massive for the price(you can easily stuff yourself for a fiver), and it’s even cheaper on their lunch menu. I love the Sen Mee Ped(vermicelli with sliced roast duck, lots of onion and black pepper). A good choice for takeaway, as the restaurant gets pretty busy.

The food is superb. The pad thai and chilli beef we ordered was excellent. The tom yum soup was delicious. It didn’t have any floating lemon grass in it. The service was good and and efficient and the atmosphere lovely. The prices were good, not too expensive. When I lived in Ealing, this was one of my favourite places for lunch and dinner,

This restaurant has good that food. The atmosphere is good too with dimmed lighting which makes the place cosy. The food is not too expensive and the portions are pretty big. I love the prawns with garlic and chilli or the duck curry with pineapple. They have set meals for lunch where you can get rice and a dish for £5.95. No bookings are necessary so you can just pop in but sometimes it can be busy during lunch and dinner but if you don’t mind waiting a bit you’ll get to enjoy the food. Its worth the wait
