I often stop here for a coffee in the morning: I trust Italians with their coffee. They are always friendly, it is very fast, and I am on my way. No muss, no fuss. They also have some very nice breakfast baguettes for £2.50 and the Greek yoghurt pots with fresh fruit at the same price. The rest of the offerings are pretty heavy for breakfast(but look amazing): ham and cheese filled croissants, pain au chocolat, etc. They do a very busy lunch crowd with some heavier hot items, sandwiches, etc. I am never around this area at lunch but it is always busy. I just come for the coffee. And leave happy. Thank you Silvios! *takeaway only — no seating. *accepts credit cards.

Fairly decent sandwich place. Not the cheapest, but one of the better ones in the area

This is a Silvio’s so you really can’t go wrong with getting a quick bite to eat here. I prefer the sandwiches here over the ones at Pret anyway. This particular location is right across the street from my office building so it’s really convenient. The staff is always smiling and the service is fast. What more can you ask for for grabbing a quick sandwich when you don’t have time to take a full lunch break.

Cant really comment on the Sandwiches but not shown in the picture is the Pie and Mash Section of Silvios. They have a nice variety of traditional and more experimental Pies on offer. I must admit they are extremely tasty but don’t seem to be filling enough. You get 1 pie 2 x mash, peas and gravy. Of course you could order more, but at £6+ for the set, lunch could get rather pricey. No seating available and small cues during lunch.
