Sitara (furnishings) is stuck in between a mess of market shops on Portobello Road so it’s easy to miss, but this is a great little shop for not-​terribly-​expensive, Asian (predominantly Indonesian and Indian) pieces. The selection is a mix of new and antique, and nothing is particularly large (except for the tables on which piles and more piles of smaller items lie) — instead, come here for something unique to accessorize or fill that empty space.
The guy who runs the shop is very friendly and usually willing to negotiate on prices.
