I was quite hungry last Sunday night and it was very late, 11 o clock ro so and as i was walking home i stopped at this place. I have to say that it didn’t impress me much, but i was really starving, nothing else was open. I ordered the Vegetariana. A bloke with no protective kitchen gear or properly dressed for serving in a kitchen made the pizza, while wiping the sweat of his head with his bare hands, also touching money paid by costumers… then making pizza again! the delivery driver also gave him a hand in baking the pizzas, needless to say he wasn’t wearing any kitchen gear. the pizza was overloaded with cheese. no distinct taste of any of the vegetables or the tomate sauce would come out as it was full of mozzarella cheese. the dough was crusty, dull and quickly baked in a rolling oven, never seen pizza done like that before. i would not recommend this place to anybody, i am very sorry. i have no bad intentions, but for 9.45 i was expecting a much better pizza. very average to low quality.

Want good pizza, not the processed stuff then this place is a good choice. It’s not amazing, but value for money and leaves you feeling satisfied.

It’s not New York or Italian style by any means but it’s my go-to take away when I’m craving pizza and feeling ultra lazy! I’ve tried the other neighbourhood pizza joints and by far Sorrento’s is the best– delivering exactly what I ordered on time.

Pizza has been on my mind lately! Came here on a whim because I was captured by a dream of a sign: 2 for 1 Tuesdays! A GREAT deal. Sizes are limited to 6″ or 12″ but they have curious ‘ultimate’ size pizzas that can only be ordered in advance, snazzy! Good pizza, not spectacular, but good. Vegetarian options are few in number, but if you are a meat-eater, you have some good choice. ALSO– be warned… that if the pizza says it is spicy, ITIS! They were very generous with chillies, both red and green varieties. Granted, it was a late lunch at around 3:30 when I went, but the giant space was nearly empty so it was easy to chat to the staff and with friends. This place will make a good sport bar; plenty of screens. They show matches and news about sport when there is no match on. So if you go with a sport’s fan, their eyes wont glaze over when you talk to them, they just drift ever so slightly away from your gaze. Oh yeah, and the bar had good choice, Next time around will be a tuesday again and will opt for less spicy

The pizza at Sorrento’s is excellent. So much better than the typical pizza takeaways. Better ingredients, more interesting toppings then ham and pineapple, and tasty stonebaked bases. All very very good. But the sides are a massive massive waste of money and they drag the whole takeaway down. It’s the sides that taste like the pointless stuff you get at a dodgy looking pizza place in south east London(and trust me, I’ve tried enough of them). Tastless potato wedges that are undercooked, pathetic little chicken wings. Waste of money. And expensive too. Best get two pizzas instead. I’ll be back, but I’ll stick to what this place is good at.

Very nice people working there– especially Ali. This is definitely not good New York or Italian pizza– but this is the best in the neighborhood by far. Take away.
