Spaghetti House

Slow service, nonattention from the waitress, and very mediocre food. Calamari seemed to come straight out of a frozen supermaket box. We had a much better experience at other Italian restaurants in London (namely Zizzi).

The pasta is like no other. Had linguine prawn in white wine. The bruchetta was delish. I found some good food in London. But need to try local cuisine

We only shared a large spaghetti Bolognese for 2 but it was delicious. Service is correct and fast enough. Good place for pasta :)

For the location you might expect more and because of this a full star is dropped.
The seating is cramped rather than intimate but the staff tick all the standard boxes. Aside from the basic questions and routine the staff although Italian seem less passionate and enthusiastic for my liking.
The only Birra is Moretti but the wine by the glass selection is extensive for such a small restaurant.
The food was underwhelming, if an Italian can not make and serve a fair attempt at a pannacotta then they need to ask some questions. The saving grace was perhaps the simple starter of Caprese, very fresh mozzarella served with peeled cherry tomatoes in an olive oil and herb drizzle. It is for this dish we halt at selecting one star.
Distinctly average in a location which demands quality.

Nice enjoyable evening as I remembered this old trip. Staff welcoming and attentive. It seems busy which testifies on the quality of the food. The cuisine was traditional Italian in a somewhat noisy restaurant. Drink food service was reasonable.

Great food, great service and great prices for central London! I got a bottle of sparkling water, spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread for 17 GBP. My waitress constantly made sure I was taken care of and the meatballs were great — I also like the sauce which contained mushrooms (I love mushrooms).

Ah… the ubiquitous Spaghetti House chain. How many times have you saved me from bad airplane food and jetlag? I usually have my first meal in London at a Spaghetti House and Knightsbridge is a good one. Simple pasta and a glass of wine or two – nothing more; nothing less. Are there better pasta places – yes; do you have to search for a Spaghetti House – no.
