Spanish Guitar Centre

Simply put — this store is an absolute gem of a small business run by passionate people interested in selling quality instruments and making customers happy.
I had been in touch by email with Andy, the store owner over a period of weeks discussing the guitars I was interested in. He immediately made me feel comfortable by recommending guitars that were lower than the budget I told him I had.
I ultimately settled on a Contreras C-​4 — which the store prices better than any online search I undertook (and I did my research for at least a month). Check stafford guitars for benchmarks in the UK.
I live in Brazil, and landed in London and went straight to the store. I told Andy I wanted to pick up the C4 but unfortunately it had been sold. But he sold me the Contreras C1 Spruce top for a price I won’t make public here — needless to say it was a great deal. And I’m sure Andy made an effort because we had been in touch over several weeks and had built a rapport.
All in all, it was an amazing experience dealing with the Spanish Guitar Centre and it is heartening to see small owner-​run shops still exists and able to reconcile making money and getting great deals for customers.
