Good food! I had chicken in a dark sauce(second item on the menu — I cannot remember the name) and peanuts as a starter and chicken tikka masala as my main course. The starter was really good and I enjoyed the dips coming with it so much! We shared naan bread and were all very happy about our choices! One thing a little frustrating was that there was one wine too much on the bill at the end. When we mentioned that to the waiters they started arguing with us but we knew exactly what everyone had. May be this was an honest mistake but for me it counts how waiters react to such things as I do not want to be treated as if I was trying to betray someone. They apologized afterwards but the feeling remains. However, I would probably go there again and give them another chance. I also would recommend going there because of the nice food.

Outstanding food, lackluster service. Wouldn’t recommend this place when you need the smooth sailing of a romantic date or an important business meeting, BUT if you just want some delicious Indian cuisine at a reasonable price, this is your spot. Chicken Tikka Masala on par with the best, and make sure to get some naan to scoop out all the extra sauce.

Really enjoyed this dinner. Chicken Tikka masala, garlic mushrooms, and vegetarian curry are delicious and flavorful with just a little bit of spice. Very hearty. One of few places that was open in the area on a Sunday night. Spacious seatinf. Was told most entrées were gluten free. Waiter didn’t know about gluten specifically but listened carefully with explanation about it and re-asked about dairy, coconut, etc being okay. The rose wine was sort of sub par though. But boyfriend enjoyed his Kingsbury beer.

On a drizzling Monday night, I tried out this restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is well lit, good ambiance and has comfortable seating. Waiters are attentive and within a few minutes of deciding what I wanted to have, my order was taken; I got the Salty Lassi(2.95), Salmon Makhani(12.95) and Pulav Rice(2.95). The food was OK. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. The Salmon was definitely missing taste, wondering if it wasn’t marinated properly? But after my personal failed attempts at cooking Salmon, Indian style, I don’t blame the chef! It’s quite difficult for Salmon to suck all those juices and produce an amazing taste, especially when serving the Makhani as a filet. I was a bit disappointed with the quantity of curry; for 12.95GBP, while the filet of salmon was generous, the dish lacked curry, which didn’t go too well with my pulav rice(which wasn’t that great at all). Pleasant experience overall in terms of service; food wise, nothing spectacular!

After trying the pub next door numerous times & being disappointed thought I would give them restaurant next door a try. As I had been craving Indian food. Upon arrival the front doors appear dark & closed. However after reading the open sign I was delighted! I was the only patron there which allowed me time to review the food critic awards on the entrance. I was thrilled after tasting the king prawn briani & chicken masala, which both had a slight spice. Absolutely loved the meal! Guess it’s true the best Indian food is in London!

Nice elegant restaurant near Tower of London. Fully licensed and admirable layout, airy and comfortable with ample seating. We ordered popodoms with dips, which were free, followed by lamb madras and king prawn bhuna madras and naan. Food was spot on with nice flavours and right balance of spice. Drinks are expensive, however food prices are satisfactory. Contemporary dishes as well as traditional classics. Excellent customer service. Worth a visit.

This is by far one of the WORST Indian restaurants I have ever been to and trust me I’ve been to a ton of Indian restaurants. Just like Linda C, I’ll list out what I ordered & describe it Veg Samosa — The samosa were store bought & thrown in the pot to cook after I ordered them. Chicken Jalfrezi — So freakin nasty, way too salty, lukewarm, tough chicken, just plain disgusting Plain Naan — Sadly, the naan was the only thing that was partially decent, but only partially After my food came out & i tasted it, I immediately called my waiter over & said this is really really bad. I’ve eaten a few bites & it’s just horrible, I’d like to pay for half of it & leave. He was quite happy to let me do that and also quite apologetic. Save yourself the trouble, I don’t care how close this is to nearby hotels or how tired you are, go elsewhere… ANYWHEREELSE! You won’t regret taking my advice!

I really liked Sripur. Located close to the Apex City Hotel of London I had cobra beer, fish tikka(nice) and a special chicken dish call Chicken Murgha Masala which had whole pieces of chicken in a blazing sauce with eggs, onions and whole lot of other things. Also had ice cream which was eh. Service was good.

Spicy is what this place has going on. But that might be about all. Portions were very small and as you’ll read, the service wasn’t all that. Here’s what we ordered(all prices in GBP). Large kingfisher 3.95 2 Pappadams 1.20 Access to the chutney bowls for the pappadams 1.20(Can’t believe they charged us for these! Really? These are typically complementary in the US) 3 very small vegetarian samosas 3.35 Prawn Suka 5.95(ONE very large prawn on the plate) Kerra(crab) vindaloo 8.95(incredibly hot) Prawn Jalfrezi 8.25(advertised as prawns but they were really BAYSHRIMP!!!) Small potion of rice with barely noticeable saffon 2.65 Garlic naan 2.75(one piece, round, size of a normalish plate) Total 42.85 They saw fit to add in service charge to our bill, which sorta threw me. I hate it when restaurants are so presumptuous as to do this, especially in the case of this place as the service was close to neglectful: they never asked us how the food was during the entire meal and one of the servers knocked over my partner’s beer into one of the appetizers and started to walk away. We had to tell him that there was beer on the place and then he took it away and brought us a fresh appetizer. I was also undecided about a drink and they said they’d check back with me for one. They didn’t. I wound up asking for water nearly at the end of my meal. So to add in service was a bit shocking. We had dessert elsewhere.
