The café is one of the best you can find around. Especially the baked goods, and do not be so silly as to refuse a fresh squeezed glass of orange juice! I ate here about five days a week when I was living in the local vicinity, and I got to know the menu well. My favorite is the goats cheese salad, rivaled closely with the beans on toast breakfast that I would order after a looooong night out.
The staff are great, and may I add, that they are largely run by local volunteers! I loved that touch.
Don’t overlook their events that they host. I dropped in for a few, and the music is always lovely, and the drinks are fairly priced.
