I asked for my usual caramel frapuchino and they told me off for not ordering property the drink.

This used to be a great starbucks, with loads of comfty seating, apart from the back which is a kids crèche, with arrogant yummy mummies. But now they removed all the comfty chairs and replaced them with a long hard shared bench style. Totally ruined it, so I now boycotted it. The front has been ruined, the back is still full of screaming kids, running around and riding scooters… Nero’s here I come

I’m going to preface this review by stating that I have no children. It’s not that I don’t like children. Well-behaved children are just fine and can even be cute at times. Mis-behaved children is a different story, however. No coffee shop on planet Earth should have a designated children’s play area. That’s a fact. Unfortunately, the owners of Starbucks did not get this memo and have dedicated the entire back section of the space to letting mis-behaved children run wild while their parent’s sip cappuccinos and pretend those mis-behaved children belong to someone else. This Starbucks is insanely loud and far from relaxing. As mentioned by a prior reviewer, the fast-paced atmosphere and volume of this space also helps me focus, however, the children, the little screaming children are too much to take at times. Again, no coffee shop on planet Earth should have a children’s play area. In short, this Starbucks is like going to a McDonald’s restaurant(one with a play land) except the play land is not cordoned off — imagine no doors or walls or windows to separate the restaurant from loads of wild children. Just imagine that! Would you go there if you did not have children? No, you probably wouldn’t, so apply this same logic when choosing to visit this Starbucks or not. Oh, and as of two weeks ago, the wifi here has really take a dive in the toilet.

Thought it’s be nice to relax here during lunch at work, however, it was full of screaming children and it seemed more like a crèche for the local yummy mummies there was rubbish everywhere that the staff didn’t make an effort to clear up. The other reviews are fine, so I guess it depends on what time you go, I think I’ll stick to the one in the business park though

Long queues probably because of the proximity to the park but a good place to park yourself if you need a coffee breather or otherwise. Lots of seating including a little children’s play area(in case that is of any use to you). Noisy(like a lost of high street Starbucks I suppose) and always brimming with activity. In a strange way it helps me focus — ideal location for me to get my laptop and work on spreadsheets or read or study. The retail shelves are adequately stocked with mugs, coffee, flasks, coffee makers and other Starbucks products even on a busy day so you can tell it’s a generally well attended-to store.

I sat in this Starbucks for a good 2⁄3 hours with my boyfriend one day and it was so relaxing. This is definitely one of my favourite Starbucks — it always has a good atmosphere and you cant go wrong with a massive cup of tea and cake!
