I called in Starbucks while in Stratford, to grab a coffee at Starbucks, this is quite a nice, large store(which seems to be busy) in the Westfield centre, at the ground floor very close to EAT and WHsmith, and at the other end of the shopping centre than Waitrose. The staff here seemed to struggle to understand me, and the basic Starbucks lingo, and communication was really stressful and hard, even when ordering a basic drink, which they still managed to get wrong to the point, where I didn’t know which drink was mine, and which one was my friend. I even told them my name was Aaron, and they wrote James on my cup! They is a very good range of Starbucks memorabilia here, and the layout of it adds to the cool, modern layout of this store. They is quite a large ordering desk here, and for the size of the store, I am surprised they is a lower amount of seating, compared to the size of this store, but in my opinion it adds to the layout of this store, and makes it seem more of a cool venue, rather than a place you are all crammed in to. My coffee was okay, after the long, painful, stressful experience of ordering it, and then getting it right, but considering the experience, visiting this Starbucks wasn’t exactly worth it, even though I really do want to like this store with the cool layout, they even have framed cups signed by olympians, to make the most of its location, in Stratford and so close to the olympic stadium. This store looks like a really nice and cool Starbucks, but looks can be deceiving sometimes, and I feel this Starbucks deserves 2 stars with the main reason for the low rating being the service, however I feel this store really doesn’t deserve 1 as it is in a good location, and it is simply quite a nice store.

Another Starbucks on the list. The good news about this super busy Starbucks branch is that the customers come and go so even when a seat isn’t immediately available one will be soon.

Technically, a Starbucks is a Starbucks. That is the joy of going to mega chains. However, I was very impressed with the way the staff dealt with the mega mayhem going on at this starbucks. Massive queues of people were waiting for their coffee and their«order before you get to the till» system worked quite well. Also, behind the counter is a wall of athletes’ cups– dozens of(mainly grande and venti…) starbucks cups signed by the olympians themselves. That’s pretty cool. Kudos for preventing an unmitigated disaster starbucks. Nothing to say about my drink, it was fine.
