Ash was a great guy and offered a ton of gluten free dishes. I thought the service was kind of slow until I realized that’s just how it is in Europe (ok so UK isn’t really Europe, but still… close enough). Highly recommend for those looking for organic or gluten free options.

We’ve been meaning to come here for ages for the pizza and beer deal (£6.95). It’s a great price to have a sit down dinner. The Irishman got himself a cocktail, as well. I forget the exact prices, but the cocktail menu was very reasonably priced.
We went for Sunday dinner and it was full of families. Long tables, crayons, etc. Definitely kid friendly and budget friendly! Not that we have kids but, being broody newlyweds, it was nice to see.
That being said, I doubt we will return except for maybe a cocktail. The pizza was large but mediocre. I think it’s lacking love. Or spices. Or both. It was cheesier than I’m used to, so maybe Americans would appreciate it.
The beer with the deal was Carlsberg, which neither of us particularly likes. There is a real lack of atmosphere and I just didn’t get the local vibe I want in a place that’s in my neighbourhood! Sticking with Aces & Eights down the street, even with the higher prices.

This is by no means the best restaurant in the area, BUT their weekday pizza and a beer combo for £5.95 just cannot be beaten! Call in here for a decent pizza on a budget. I mean jeeze its cheaper than cooking your own (and no washing up!)

Two years later, the 12 pound prix fix menu still stands! This, in itself, is a reason to come here. The included drink is now house red or white wine, but it’s still a complete deal, especially considering my home currency is USDs, and the exchange rate with GBP made it hard to even go out while on vacation. The wait staff were very, very nice, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was lively, but not overwhelming. I came twice during my 9-​day stay in London and it was well worthwhile. Will definitely come back next time I’m abroad!

This is a fantastic local Italian place very close to Tufnell Park station. Their 3 course deal with a glass of champagne is excellent value. The portions are huge and everything I’ve had has been delicious. There is a great variety of pizzas available including a smoked salmon and avocado — don’t knock it til you’ve tried it!

This place does good Italian food at a reasonable price. I found the place relaxing, so took my time with a coffee after my meal.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and their gift of a fork swung the course of my epic battle between pick and olive!

Everyone who classes themselves as a true Londoner, whether you were born in the City or not, must have a place they drag their drunken asses off to the next day for a fantastic fry-​up, and this place in Tufnel Park is mine.
Honestly, the English breakfast here is great and they don’t skimp on the portions which is great as you’ve probably a lot of sin to soak up.
Not only is this place a saviour on a Sunday afternoon but during the evening it has a fantastic offer of 3 courses of good Italian food for £12, including a glass of champagne. I defy you to find better value elsewhere in the area.
That the food is actually excellent just makes the deal all the more better. Their goats cheese starter is really good, their pizza’s are very filling so leave room as their desserts are great and also size able.
A brilliant little place with great food!

extremely good value — £12 for 3 courses including a glass of champagne! (for some reason), and excellent food and service. Despite living 5 mins from this place, only discovered last night. A real find. Pizza’s are exceptionally good quality and, in my view, pretty authentic (@ £6.50). highly recommended

This Italian restaurant is open to a large range of people, from group business meetings to the regular couple down the road (me) With it’s a la Carte menu, offering wonderful, but quite pricey dishes, there is also a three course set menu for only £6.95! You get to chose between roughly three or 4 starters, any pizza, or pasta dish from the menu, and then a chose of normally two desserts. The food is always reasonably quick, and scrumptious, and the staff are always very friendly. A nice, warm place to go to if you want to meet up with some friends for a bit of a party, and eat some amazing pizza!
