Ate here last week with some friends, it was ok, nothing to really rate too much though. Given it 3 stars instead of 2 as the food was tasty. When we arrived it was empty apart from one family — who were we sat next to(communal tables) — a pet hate of mine. Service was a bit slow but eventually we ordered. They forgot my dish, so I ate my side of potatoes whilst everyone tucked into theirs and eventually the rest of my order turned up, when it arrived it was tasty, a seafood dish with tomato sauce. Staff were v slow at clearing the table and didn’t particularly seem keen to offer more drinks or dessert. The restaurant itself is nice, has nice atmosphere and it did get a bit busier. The food is tasty but I think it has recently changed hands — wasn’t called Su Sazzugoni either — although can’t remember name of the place now! It looked the same. I last ate here about 3 years ago and had a much better experience.

When it comes to rudeness and unpleasantness I’ve never been treated in such a rude and high handed way. No I haven’t tried the food or drink or indeed anything and I am sure it might well be as good as people say. Let me explain. We booked in for a Saturday night in February on a deal, the booking was confirmed and everything was going smoothly until a rather abrupt person rang up 3 hours before we were due to sit down and said that our booking was not valid. When I protested that it had been confonfirmed and quoted the booking number he became quite rude and then put the phone down on me. I rang back a few minutes later and again was met by rudeness and an extremely unpleasant attitude, they wouldn’t rebook and wouldn’t discuss the matter and again put the phone down on me no apology no humility no admission they got their booking system wrong. I am shocked about how little this restaurant regarded customer service and I am glad now that we didn’t eat there we booked a late table at Smiths of Wapping and had a fantastic meal with exemplary service. Be warned, book carefully.

I really like this place. The menu is not your typical Italian, it has its sardinian twist, so expect some interesting meat cuts on the menu. Pasta is great. So are the Pizzas, and if you live local the take away deal is great. I think its £7.50 across the board on all pizzas(don’t quote me on that.). The seating is a bit strange, set out like a school canteen, but you quickly forget about your neighbours. I’ve been on dates and with friends to this place. Its all good. Dont forget the Lauriston up the road though if you just want a quick Pizza!

A lovely local gem. It’s pretty authentically Sardinian, with some great Sardinian specialties, including Culurgionis all’Ogliastrina, little dumplings filled with potatoes, cheese & mint in a tomato sauce, mmm. The pizzas are stand out, too, & seafood dishes are also particularly good. Good selection of Sardinain wine, not to mention those herb type liquors like Mirto for you to digest your food with & give yourself a massive hangover. I’ve always been too excited by the pizzas/seafood/dumplings etc to try meat dishes but I have been informed by my dining companions that they are reliably good. I seem to remember some kind of massive Sardinian sausage making an appearance at one dinner… Downsides: the service can be a bit fluffy at times, there’s one waiter in particular who is perhaps a little too fond of himself to bother to serve customers, but hey, it’s kind of authentic… There are a few tables outside, but problems with their license means these can’t be used after 8pm, which is a bit of a blow on a lovely summer night, but they tell me they are working to get this fixed. My only gripe: I have to agree with(my neighbour!) Sofia — for a local restaurant, it’s by no means cheap for a blow out, especially if you hit the booze. Three courses & wine can come in at about £80 for two, not including service. But pizzas are a reasonable price, and did I mention that the food is is very delicious? It is. Very.

Excellent sardinian food in up and coming Victoria Park Village. It has a very good selection of wines and a menu that is short enough to assume that things are prepared fresh. Long tables result in a very family like atmosphere(albeit prob not too good for a romantic tête-à-tête in privacy) The owner and staff give you the impression that you are dining in their kitchen in Italy and are passionate about their food. It seems still like a foodie secret, probably due to its location away from the tube network(nearest station Bethnal Green) Worth the effort of getting there! Verdict: Excellent value for money, unpretentious, and delicious and authentic food. More up in the league of high-end restaurants than your normal local Italian. Deserves more attention from outside the local area

I was really impressed by this place. Was recommended to me by a friend in the area, and will definitely be going back. The pasta dishes are as good as any I have tried in Italy, especially the crab ravioli. My partner and I agreed that this was the best Italian place we have tried in London, and was very reasonable for the quality of the meal. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant…

This place is located near Victoria Park and a good stop to have some nice lunch after a walk. It has a modern, Italian theme. Service was good and attentive. The prices was slightly high but on the other hand the portions were generous as well. The tables are all together and you sit right next to the other guests. This is nice in theory as it give a family feel. However, we sat next to a family with young kids and despite the parents best effort to keep them calm they got carried away and this increased my stress. I wanted to relax a bit more and this is the reason for not giving this place 4 stars. I will be back here though.
