They give good haircuts, however don’t think you will be able to ask for a certain style. I asked for side fringe and layers at the Earl’s Court one. In the end she did whatever she wanted, it was nice but not what I asked for. Good if you just want basic cut but if you actually want your hair styled, find a better place.

Basic & cheap salon but still left happy with the quality of the cut. Best to go at off peak to avoid long waiting times!

If you are looking for a cheap hair cut, there is a chain called Supercuts, which are based around London — located mostly around tube stations — practical! I tried out the branch, which is based in the Gloucester Road Arcade on a Sunday. Believe me or not you do not need to make any booking. They in fact not take any bookings. Thats good news, especially if you are like me, last minute! I had to wait around 30min until it was my turn, which is ok, as I could sit at the hairdresser and rummaging through their gossip magazines as long as I can. A lady made me some highlights while talking to her colleague. You know how hairdressers are. I prefer it this way, as I am not an expert in small talk. The price was reasonable considering it was based in Gloucester Road. Lots of customers around that area go there to have just a quick blow dry or have a brush up cut for their party or special event the night ahead. I like to observe such things…

This place offers cheap haircuts, the cheapest being under £15. The place is located next to glocuester road tube station in the arcade area inside next to waitrose. Sometimes, it is busy and you have to wait, but most of the time it is not. People are friendly, you get what you pay for, this is a quick no frills literally stop and go barbers.
