I just got dumped by my favourite London sushi spot. And without any notice whatsoever. It came out of nowhere. I know what you’re saying: these things don’t just happen. There are always warning signs. But no, no, there were no signs, I swear! I thought we were doing just fine. I thought we had a good thing here. I mean, sure, I may have cancelled on a date once or twice. But I’ve always been loyal, and told everyone how great a love the two of us shared. Hiro didn’t even have the common decency to give me the«it’s-not-you-it’s-me» speech! For a few weeks now I’ve called and called, and no one’s answered. I thought maybe they went out-of-town without telling me. I thought maybe they just needed some space for the month of August. And then today, I read that Hiro-san retired and moved back to Japan and that he sold Sushi Hiro to Atari-ya! What??? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! What am I supposed to do now?! Where will I go for my high quality, cheap sushi fix now?! I’ve heard time heals all wounds, but I don’t know about this one. The mourning period will be long and hard.

This is hands down my favourite sushi place in London. I havent had better quality and definately not better value sushi anywhere in the Uk in fact. This little gem of japanese authenticity is hidden behind a very plain looking exterior. Inside however its really clean and quite cute. This place is excellent for lunch and then they do accept walk ins. In the evenings you can forget getting a seat without a reservation. No chance. I always get: 1 Tuna roll, 1 Salmon roll 1 Cucumber roll They add a free miso soup and green tea(at least for lunch). I walk away with a cheque of less than 9£ for 18 pieces of sushi(3 rolls), feeling happy, full and great. This is simply the best. Enjoy! But its CASHONLY!

In a city filled with sushi wrapped in plastic and traveling on conveyor belts… I didn’t know if real sushi existed. I am happy to say that real sushi does exist in London. You have to travel to Ealing common, even Google Maps tries to hide this gem from you by tricking you. Great quality fish, expertly made sushi, make sure you make a reservation!

great quality fish but disappointed they didn’t do omakase orders. best negi toro ever and was fab they had spotted prawn! the sushi rice & toro & ikura is not as good as sushi of shiori though & would have gotten 5* if they used fresh wasabi(like shiori)

It’s a nearest Japanese restaurant and only take 8 mins by bus from where i’m living. They got the fresh sushi i’ve had in London and the price is reasonable. Suhi-Hiro is a good restaurant for those who love sushi and please make a reservation before you show up. Make sure you bring enough cash because they only accept cash!

This is place is sweet. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. The food is well priced and fresh. I think the best deal here are the Makki Rolls and the Sets A to F. Also try their Unni. It will make you feel, like your tounge is having a booty call. Enjoy and have fun an dont forget to make a reservation before you show up

This is the BEST sushi in London for the normal Japanese working class who live in London for the time being. There are ½ doezn high end sushi restaurants you take clients to. Sushi Hiro is a nice little place that cater to mostly take out for the Japanese. I go there all the time to order take out and then just go home. Once in a while if there is a space open up(they only have 6 or so spots in the sushi bar and then 2, 3 tables with 2 seats for in house dining) in the restaurant, I will sit down and eat. This is a place not to miss if you care about serious basic sushi, nothing else.
