Coffee hotter than the sun? unhappy member of staff serving you with one word answers? Come to Deli. Not surprised this place is empty. Best of all, «please tell us your amount of sugars before ordering coffee» sign on the coffee(hot lava) machine.

Really fresh ingredients, all of the highest quality. Great Value for money when purchasing a sandwich/panini. There’s a variety of breads to choose from and a huge selection of fillings. Coffee is decent, and a variety of teas are available, and only at the fraction of the price of some of the brand café’s. The Shop is smaller than it used to be(half the size) but they provide all the necessary items(bread, milk etc.) for a convenient store as well as some premium products you don’t find just at any supermarket. The staff are a very friendly bunch of people, you can tell they are a very honest, hard working bunch. I highly recommend this place, and hope similar places open up soon!

Swiss Deli is a great ‘corner shop’ to stop off at for some fast food, especially at night as they are open 24 hours a day. They have a delicatessen counter and a variety of hot and cold food; sandwiches, samosas, pies, cakes etc which are mostly ‘home made’. They sell hot drinks and of course chilled drinks and they are a licensed off licence so sell alcohol(not at night though). They also sell most other things you would expect to be able to buy in a mini supermarket/newsagents like newspapers, milk, bread, cigarettes, tinned food … basically a selection of essentials. My only complaint is that some members of staff can be really slow at serving customers and don’t even seem to realise. It would be nice if they speeded up a bit! Located in Swiss Cottage just by Finchley Road, Swiss Deli is easy to walk to from Belsize Park, Hampstead, Primrose Hill & South Hampstead areas. Car parking isn’t a problem in the evening, at night or on weekends but during the day on weekdays I wouldn’t bother as you will end up with a parking ticket. At night there are usually a few mini cabs parked outside while the cabbies nip in to grab a bite to eat and a cuppa tea/coffee. This convenience store used to be called Tobins Ltd and was twice the size and really run down, dingy and rather depressing. It’s recently been completely refurbished and is now bright, clean and fresh, but a lot smaller. This shop is listed on Qype as Nickel ‘N’ Dime but the shop front sign says Swiss Deli so I think that is their current name.
