I love bringing people here. First, it’s just a great street to walk down, from the incredible graffiti to the independent fashion shops and the inimitable Labour & Wait down the road. Yes, it’s getting more upscale and international(was showing a friend from NYC around and between T2 and Mast Brothers, had trouble finding shops that were uniquely UK), but at this place, they really know and love their stuff. Staff is always super friendly and invite you to sample any of the four+ pots they have brewing. Sometimes there are even little tea packets to take home for free. They have over 200 types of tea here, as well as seasonal blends like Summer(green tea, mint and a bit of lemon). The peppermint is unbelievably good and sharp, and the Oolong is great too. A ten-pack makes a great gift, with complimentary gift wrapping in Japanese-adorned paper. Lots of great teapots and brewing accessories available too. Price point is a bit high: around £4.50 for a brewing spoon and around £7 for a gift cube of loose leaf tea.

Great place, all staff encourage you to ask to try any tea there and then, but never pushy to make a sale!

Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful teas and a great selection of cups/saucers and any kind of tea accessory imaginable. They are generous with samples and really eager to help you find something that works for you, not just sell you as much as they can. Join the rewards program for more free samples to take home! And you don’t have to carry a card, they just keep your name in the system. Love this place.

I love Tea. I love drinking it. I love smelling it. I love the cute little china cups. I love it all. I’ve been to a T2 in Australia, but not over in the UK. So spotting a little iced tea sample on the street definitely drew me into the store. The store has rows and rows of tea, and the thing i love it, that you can smell all of them, and if you have one of the staff assisting you, they’ll even offer a free sample. The prices are quite reasonable for nice teas. And I love the selection of tea pots and cups at the back of the store. But my favourite part of my visit on Sunday was the Turkish Apple and Rose iced tea… Boy Oh Boy was it amazing!!!
