Tesco

This is one of my nearest supermarkets. I always consider this as my local supermarket as it is the closest. I am biased as I always come here to do my weekly shop and always find what I need and if for some reason I can’t, I just ask one of the staff and they always offer to help.
This store has been through major improvements and love this refurbishment as they have a lot more on offer and somehow feels more spacious then before. They have free wifi in store, ATM, Toilets, Recycling, Tesco Direct Catalogue Shop, Post Office (Open till 8pm weekday, not sure of weekend timing), Clothing Range, Tech Support, Phone Shop, Optician, Pharmacy and Games
They are open 24 hours from Monday 8am through to Saturday 10pm and Sunday hours are 11am to 5pm.
This Tesco has a Petrol Station on site and a Hand Car Wash which is convenient as you can get your car washed whilst you shop.
Well worth a visit and good opening hours.

TESCO is my preferred local supermarket in the Wembley Park area. Have an ASDA and x2 Lidl stores just down the road, but TESCO has a better range of products. Especially following the expansion into a TESCO Extra store. Love the new store.
Only let down is shopping in the evening, workers make getting around the store difficult with their many trolleys blocking up the Isles as the re-​stock. They don’t think of leaving them neatly to one side so shoppers can still get about.

Very good supermarket because we can find it everywhere in London. The products are often goods and for affordable prices.

This Tesco was in the midst of a massive remodel when I visited this weekend. Since that’s a temporary situation, I’ll not comment on it any further.
A full-​size Tesco that probably runs more than 200,000 square feet and is pretty chock full of all the things you need to operate a household. Groceries, produce, meats, cheeses, sweets, soda, beer, spirits, cleaning supplies, you name it! The shop was pretty well organized and the prices were easy to find and I think are quite competitive.
Plenty of tills («registers» in American) and the cashier that helped me was quite pleasant and friendly.
Very large parking area and I’m sure there’s a petrol station out there somewhere.

Que vivan los Tesco!
Y es que, hasta que conocí yo estos supermercados, me tenía que leer y releer los componentes de cada cosa ya que, al ser vegetariana, compruebo que no tenga nada de origen animal. El caso es que en el Tesco (y en otros muchos supermercados ingleses también, todo sea dicho) indica si es apto para vegetarianos con un simple dibujito en el ambalaje. De la misma forma, cosas con mucho contenido en grasas vienen indicadas con un puntito rojo, lo que me parece super útil para gente que tenga que controlar su colesterol por ejemplo.
En cuanto a la marca blanca (blanca literal) barata de verdad: se nota muchísimo la diferencia en el balance final de la compra.
Los Tescos están, además, muy bien organizados y suelen ser enormes! Venden también platos preparados super ricos en los que te indican también si son demasiado ricos en grasas.
Algunos abren las 24 horas, eso sí a partir de las 10 cierran la sección alcohol, lo que a los spanish nos puede chocar un poco!
Lo dicho, que vivan los Tesco!

This massive Tesco is worth a visit. It’s open ²⁴⁄₇ and has a pharmacy, café, petrol station and photo processing booth.

Tescos are great. They have some fab offers, and do the best croissants! They always have good prices and friendly staff. Also the café is great. They have a good variety of food and stuff. They also have their one value brand which i think are very good quality considering the price is sooooo cheap. The store is usually well laid out, and clean. good selection of fresh cream cakes and donuts. cookies. etc.
