Yet another Tesco in Hackney.
There are 15 Tescos within a 1.5 mile radius of this one. Yep, you heard me FIFTEEN!!! 22 within 2 miles!!! For F**k sake, where are the monopoly’s commission when you need them? Only one of them is a decent size (Morning Lane Superstore in Hackney — shudder), the rest are all express or metro which go into direct competition with the local shops.
Despite all this, it IS convenient and even I end up shopping there once or twice a week for which I am ashamed*.
