Top notch corner «shop» selling excellent beer to drink in the small bar or take home.
Good range of bottled beer & cans in the fridge. One beer on keg & 4 from the cask.
Knowledgeable staff, nice tunes, retro furniture, view of Nunhead Green & a good vibe. What’s not to like.
Highly recommended.

A micropub in Nunhead which good value beers no tap and a really great range of slightly worse-​value bottles. Less than ten minutes from the station — so really filling a gap in the pubs in the local area. The selection of beers is really interesting, with the help of the staff I tried a few good ones.
The really friendly staff and a small, cosy interior make this a very comfortable place. Good for a few beers and a chat, very straightforward indeed. Food-​wise, there are scotch eggs, which is the correct thing to do if you are only offering a small amount of food. I will be back.
