Good pub, another of the Nicholsons pub chain. There’s a big variety of ales on, but due to its central location, not much seating downstairs. However, there’s loads upstairs, which is brilliant. The upstairs usually holds comedy nights most Tuesdays, with a variety of acts on. Atmosphere is warm and relaxed. Service very good and cheerful and also very prompt. Clientele a mix of city people, «locals» and not very touristy — possibly because it’s slightly off the East End of Oxford Street. Well worth a visit though.

A nice boozer, very close to oxford Street, and a decent size, with plenty of seating. Traditional affair for the interior, they’re open fer breakie too! A nice upstairs bar that’s slightly plusher than downstairs. There’s a good range of bangers to go with your mash, and the Fi & Chi ain’t bad either. A nice range of Lagers on tap, the staff are very friendly, would thoroughly recommend this for a lunchtime jaunt any day of the week.

An inside and outside nicely decorated pub. A cosy place close to Oxford Street. They have a good selection of real ales(with a raspberry-flavoured beer as a summer guest beer). Friendly service.

Friendly staff, and the upstairs rooms are particularly nice with a quaint dumb waiter to deliver meals. Food is tasty — however rather surprisingly on one visit they actually ran out of beer on tap! Normally there is a decent selection of beers and a cosy atmosphere and otherwise pretty standard.
