I feel bad even giving one star… The butter chicken tasted like it was made from M&S ready soup. There was no Butter and the chicken was terrible, fortunately there wasn’t much of it. However the vegetables were palatable. You can’t really mess them up. :) Happy New Year to all, the only culinary way next year is up.

Food was good but the experience was average. We were staying at a nearby hotel and really were excited to get some great Indian take away after reading the great reviews for this place. It took them 75 minutes to deliver dinner for 2. When it did arrive they didn’t include any utensils or napkins and shorted us 1 order of rice. We had to find napkins and utensils elsewhere. It should be included especially if you tell them you’re staying at a hotel. The entrees were good and the Bombay wings were great, but the naan was soggy and cold.

The food was ok but there are better options in London. I ordered the Kashmiri naan which was very powdery for some reason. If you are in London close to Paddington — there are better options than this one.

THEBESTINDIANDELIVERYINLONDON I give The Bombay Takeaway Club 5-Stars for outstanding Indian delivery. Here are my reasons: 1. The Food Is Really Good. I live in Denver, Colorado(USA) and we have pretty good Indian. This is at least as good as anything back home, and it came delivered in 40 minutes. 2. The Prices Are Reasonable for London. The city is expensive, but compared to what you will spend sitting at a restaurant, the prices help relieve your bruised wallet. Chicken Tikka Masala here is £7.75. 3. The Chicken Tikka Masala is Pretty Good. 4. The Naan is £2.75 for a tasty, nicely chewy and generously sized portion My 9-year old son had the Tandoori Chicken and he says: «I think it is great, but it is a little bony.» I found this restaurant on but it appears that the restaurant also accepts online delivery orders(with a 10% online promotion). If you are visiting, delivery is a really good deal in the city because of the cost of taxi!

NOM! NOM! Delicious. Would have given it a 5⁄5 but my chicken tikka masala didn’t come with rice. It was just sauce and chicken. Luckily my hubby ordered chicken biryani which was great and I ate rice from that. Delivery was super speedy(which as a constantly hungry pregnant woman I really appreciate :) only took 20 minutes after ordering.

I always meant to come and try the old Bombay Bicycle Club… but as it is now closed, I am glad that I got to try this place instead. I visited here with a friend in the spring, and sat upstairs where they have placed a few tables. It’s not a particularly lovely place to sit(with cars and buses zooming past behind you, and just fake grass to look out upon…) but the curries all make up for this. Seriously, everything we tried here was delicious… So far I loved: Palak Paneer(with lots of spinach) and the tandoori paneer(on a skewer) Lamb Maduri(flavourful and delicious) Goan fish curry(This was creamy and good) Butter chicken(this is really mild, but really tasty — good choice if you have a friend that doesn’t like things spicy) It was so good that I asked if they would be able to deliver all the way over to our flat in Tuffnell park. At first they said no, then they looked up our postcode(N7), and decided they could deliver to us after all(yay!!) We hardly ever order Indian food, but a few weeks later I persuaded my husband that it was a good idea. Delivery was easy to order, speedy and arrived still hot just over 30 minutes later. Brilliant.

Second time ordering delivery from Bombay Takeaway Club. Tasty curries, super fast delivery, very reasonable prices, what’s not to like? Their website ordering system is easy to use too. These guys are now my go to for those nights when I’m craving a curry and can’t be bothered to go out, eg most nights. As a note for ordering over the phone, you can still pay with debit, but you have to call it in, delivery staff don’t accept plastic payment.

First order from here after reading a few reviews. Much better than the previous indian restaurant I chose that’s for sure. Ordered while out on the way home, very polite and friendly on the phone, great first impression! I was told the order would be up to 45 minutes at 20:30 on a sunday evening, pretty much what youd expect for a delivery to be fair! I was how ever pleasantly surprised with a call 20 minutes later, they just beat me to my door, the polite delivery driver stood & waited for a few minutes for me to get back. So anyway my order was only simple as id been dieting for 10 weeks for a competition I just fancied a simple creamy korma! Complimentary popadom & mango chutney, not normally something I have but it was pleasant & not greasy! The packaging much better than that of an ordinary takeaway, no risk of leaks or spillage here! The food! Finally, great, rice perfectly cooked & my korma satisfied my needs, it had a mild hint of spice, not normally seen in korma but it was nice, probably my second or third favourite of all time. Could of been richer/creamier but thats an individual preference and I thoroughly enjoyed it. At £10.70 delivered not overly priced for london either. Good experience & will be trying other delights from here shortly

During our 4 month stay in London, we ate at Bombay Takeaway Club at least once a week. It’s great Indian takeaway and delivery is free. Food was pretty underwhelming in London, but BTC was always consistently good. I should have tried more of the menu, but the chicken tikka misala was just too good. Also try the palak paneer. Super tasty. I’m going to miss BTC. It is a bit on the pricy side, but the food is worth it.

This place is the real deal if you’re looking for some quality Indian in the area. The food is excellent and the space inside is neat and tidy — the two main things that everyone looks out for when getting takeaway. You’ll get the highest value for your money as the portions are quite big and you can get to an immobile-level of full for a tenner. Indian food for the soul!

Delicious indian food, comes in quite big portions(excellent tikka masala). Delivery service is very quick! So, probably the best takeaway for indian in the area. Ps: Even though the name changed from Bombay Bicycle to Bombay Takeaway Club, the quality, quantity and taste remain soo good!

Since Bombay Bicycle Club went into administration, the Little Venice branch has reopened and started off as independent delivery service. Cooking on-site with fresh ingredients, The Bombay Takeaway Club does perhaps the best Indian take-away food in the area. And since July 2013, they expanded from take-away to restaurant with a few tables outside where you can sit down and enjoy their food from proper dishes. I ordered from The Indian Takeaway Club a couple of times and once eaten at their outside dining area, and always greatly enjoyed the food. The different chicken dishes I had were always delicious, the chicken was tender and the sauces were rich and tasty. Their lemon rice is a treat and the naan also tastes very good. As you might expect from an Indian restaurant, you usually get a popadom with your order. If you live locally around Maida Vale and like Indian food, you should definitely give The Bombay Takeaway Club a try!

The Bombay Takeaway Club formerly It was The Bombay Bicycle Club, is distinguished by the consistent quality of the food and great services. Wide range of authentic dishes is impressive and oil is used sparingly but it’s the quality of the fresh ingredients and particularly the spices that sets them apart. I was hugely impressed by how full of flavor everything was just great. The quality and the portions generous.
