This is a great place to do for a few glasses of wine and bite to Eat with friends. As the name suggests that have a huge selection of wines including lots in wine dispensing machines that give you the opportunity to try some quite expensive wines with out buying a bottle The food is great also. The tapas style bites are great to share and the steaks are some people f the best we have had

I recently moved to this neighborhood and when I saw ‘wine’ in the name I was excited. It’s got a nice, dark, sexy vibe and the menu is solid. The place is always packed so they must be doing something right. The service is excellent, and above average from what I’ve experienced in Europe. They have a set up that reminds me of Vinopolis on the South Bank. You buy a card and put some money on it & then can use this card to buy tastes of different wines. I haven’t tried it yet but looks like a fun — yet boozy — way to while away the weekend hours. I have been here twice and will be coming back. Note: I have had the duck(no longer on the summer Menu) and rack of lamb and both were great. Tonight I tried the sea bream, Bok Choy, oyster mushrooms, spinach in a saffron sauce. This dish was so salty, almost to the point of being inedible. I am not a huge salt fan and prefer a lite touch. I’d rather a dish be under salted, which I can correct, rather than be over salted.

Great place to try different wines on a oyster style travel card. Just top up and on a free Fulham wine rooms card and you can taste or have a small/large glass of pretty much most wines. Great place and never feels too busy which is a good thing.

For everyone who likes to check out different wines, Fulham Wine Rooms provides a decent selection by the glass. And the food is pretty tasty, although not perfect. So, one evening after a long day in the office, I decided to walk a bit. After a few minutes I stood right in front of Fulham Wine Rooms — without thinking too long, I went in to have dinner, disrupting my little walk. The restaurant is located in a nice neighbourhood in Fulham. If you live or work in the area and you like decent wine, Fulham Wine Rooms is definitely a place you should know. As you might expect at a place with«wine» in its name, Fulham Wine Rooms offers a great selection just that. Even better, it offers almost its entire selection by the glass — a great opportunity to try somewhat different things you usually do not get by the glass. I browsed through the menu and settled for a onglet steak, handcut chips and peppercorn sauce. The waiter was friendly and the steak was full of great flavour. As you would expect, the onglet was not as tender as a fillet, but it tasted delicious. The chunky skin-on chips were also tasty. Just the peppercorn sauce was a bit of a let down. Adding to this misery, the salt and the pepper on the table were no help to fine-tune my plate. After finishing up my main, I was given a dessert menu, and would have fancied the raspberry crème brulée, but nobody ever asked to take my order and I waited for quite some time to give them a fair chance. At the end I left without dessert. My mixed feelings of the food aside, I had a very nice Riesling — with a typical and rather strong taste. On my second visit at Fulham Wine Rooms, I ordered a special taster offer for London Wine Week together with a cheese plate and very much enjoyed the different wines and the various cheeses. It was a lovely day, so I took advantage of the weather and sat at the open doors. This time, it was an all-around pleasant experience.

So the website for Fulham Wine Room is and it’s easy to see why. They do indeed do great wine by the glass. Fulham Wine Room is an interesting experience. It’s a large, dark, old-world wooden space with a main bar area and a few event rooms. I was here for a large birthday party and there were people everywhere, and it still never felt crowded(well, too crowded. If you’re sitting near the bar like I was, people are going to bump into you, but that’s just because they wanted wine, and who can blame them.) Now, the way Fulham works is you go to the counter and buy a card(the card is free and you put as much on it as you’d like.) On the wall adjacent, there is a long row of bottles behind glass, and a spout under each one. Below this row are glasses. Take a glass and choose your wine. Once you find the one you like, you can buy a taste, a full glass or a bottle with the press of a button! Neat. It wasn’t well explained to me though and I kept pressing the button expecting something to happen. Turns out you have to hold down the button and keep pressing until it’s filled. I wish someone had told me that so I didn’t feel so foolish but what are you going to do. Now, I’m actually not quite sure how I felt about this concept. I love talking to a bartender who actually knows his wines and can make a recommendation for something I’d like. I feel like wine is such a personal, communicative experience and this takes all of that away. I guess I could have still gone up to him and asked about recommendations but he was very busy selling cards. Ah well. Still, it made getting drinks incredibly easy and fun. Overall,. a solid place for some fine drinking.
