First off, this place is the real deal. Great cut and shave I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty from all over the world. Here’s the thing, because they are so good they get busy. So make an appointment plain and simple. Also, don’t expect to go to a place with professionals of this quality and expect them to have you out the door in 5 minutes. If you want 5 minute quick service there are a ton of other places you can go, BUT if you really want quality and service there is no better place in the world. Great conversation, great service — GREAT Shave & Cut!

If you need to have a haircut, it seems decent establishments in Canary Wharf are harder to find than a stock broker’s soul

I went in to this place on recommendation of a friend who had the whole male beauty treatment thing done. Sounded ideal and he looked the better for it!
I just wanted a haircut! But the moment I went in, I felt like I wasn’t welcome, was made to sit down without so much as a please or thank you, I had to interrupt the receptionist just to get my attention as they were more worried about getting out and going out than to book me in. The supposed stylist comes over and I ask for the cut and he barbers my hair. If I want to pay over £40 for a haircut then I damn well expect some time and care to be taken over it. This did not happen.
My stylist was more interested talking to his mates on the next chair than finding out about what I wanted and he just sat me down and carved what was meant to be a great cut but was just plain average and a barber could do for a fraction of the cost.
This is another place I will never return to.
