Nice, simple lunch food at very reasonable prices (for London). Cash only, but not slammed at lunchtime — there was a table outside in the sunshine. Had a delicious grilled vegetable ciabatta with soft cheese, came with chips or salad for just £5. It’s a pleasure to find an unpretentious old-​fashioned lunch bar like this close to my work, and I’ll be back.

For the price, this place is a 4. It’s not fine dining or anything but the prices are extremely reasonable, there are a lot of choices (including all day breakfast) and really nice service. I’m in the city for work and there are very few options for cheap, decent food. You can get a burger and chips for £4 or a full breakfast for £3. Give them a try!
