The Kings head is a half decent bar, with plenty of seating and a beer garden at the back, the bar prices are 20% higher than the Bar next door this is to deter the undesirables from coming in, only when you see the bar next door that you see the difference.
The food looked and tasted alright but cost an arm & a leg, with most sharing platters at a whopping £20. Majority of the food looked and tasted like bought in, I’ve seen enough of it over the years to tell.
The toilets are situated awkwardly up stairs and when the bar closes you only get a few minutes notice before throwing out time.
