The Last

This place is quite nice however at present with so much building work going on around the place it is a bit noisy when trying to enjoy a nice relaxing meal with friends. The décor is nice and light and I love the circular booths they are my best place to sit with friends. The food is quite tasty has improved over the number of years that the Last has been around due to new management etc. Apparently according to my friends the burger is super and highly recommended.

Had a few cocktails here — menu is good and cocktails were good however the service was a bit snobby. Good for after work drinks though. As a local bar I will be back!

cute décor and a handy place for lunch on a work day. Food is ok. sometimes hit and miss. I’ve had a few good meals but sometimes the portion sizes can be disappointing. easy to book a table for a large party though which is a bonus.

I visited The Last on several occasions. The place is good for after-​work drinks with the typical city-​bar feel. Reserving a large table sometimes get you perks; I remember once, in the summer, our pre-​booked table came with sombreros and funky plastic sunglasses to spice up the atmosphere.
I also came here on a slightly more «formal» after-​work do with prosecco and nibbles around a large table with about a dozen of us. The food was decent, drinks were nice, although waiting staff could do with being a little bit more attentive like giving us plates and napkins when the food has arrived. A lunchtime visit was slightly less satisfying; the food was edible but nothing special at city-​pub price tag.
Overall, The Last is a great place for after-​work drinks particularly with a large group of friends or colleagues.

Really nice pub in The City and my new office local. With food, cocktails and over 30 wines by the glass, it’s a great place to visit for an after-​work beverage. It also has a large outdoor beer terrace, which is almost unheard of in this area. Filled with finance and insurance types, the typical clientele are well dressed and absolutely loaded.
