I have been to this pub a number of time now since moving to Hammersmith. We have eaten here 4 times and the food has never failed to impress. Best Thai that I have had in London so far. Beer and food prices are really good. Great pub, great food!

I work in Hammersmith and the Laurie Arms has been a consistently favoured venue for group outings, as far as my colleagues are concerned. Yes, it’s one of those English pubs that serves Thai food, but the meals here are incredibly tasty, generous and inexpensive — a trinity that commands local loyalty. I went back just last night for a work celebration and found it just as it always is on a Friday night — not too busy but not too quiet, with quick food service and courteous staff.

We found this place after walking around Hammersmith on a Friday night, trying to avoid the rammed boozers with incredibly loud music. The Laurie Arms is a really nice place, just around the corner from Hammersmith tube but far enough away not to be overcrowded. The main bar is quite traditional with a stripped oak look to it, and there’s a huge conservatory on the side(much bigger than the bar) with extra seating, pool table etc. It even has a charming little beer garden at the rear. As the other reviewers have said they also serve up cheap and cheerful Thai food, which is perfectly adequate unless you’re trying to impress someone when you’re out on a date. Definitely my pub of choice when I’m back that way again

I hadn’t been to the Laurie Arms for years. It used to be heaving with revellers before and after gigs at the Hammersmith Palais next door. We went yesterday(Thursday night) and were surprised how empty the pub was. Which is a shame; they are selling a good selection of beers and soft drinks, the bar man(I think he may have been the landlord) was exceptionally friendly, the music great, and the Thai food is good, too. Not the best I have had in London, but good value for money. Let’s hope the lack of custom is really just due to the credit crunch and the fact that it is January. The Laurie is a welcome alternative to the mass-market and loud bars nearby with their regular School Discos.

This is a good option if you feel like diverting from the normal ”pub grub” standards of steak and ale pies etc. The menu is an extensive range of Thai food that is prepared well and at a reasonable price for what you get. We also particularly enjoyed the natural light that beams throught the roof as you eat, not unlike the fire station 2 doors down. The beer selection is standard ales and lager where you can’t beat an ice cold Kronenbourg

The Laurie Arms not only serves nice reasonable priced drinks but the food is so tasty, they serve Thai food, from starters, main dishes to daily specialS which will leave you wanting to go back for more. THEYOPEN7⁄7 I mean 7 days a week are 2 minutes walk from Hammersmith station, whether it is a Lunch time meal you want or dinner give the place a go because in addition you will get good drinks at good prices, ENJOY.
