Nice, little neighborhood place with very friendly, helpful staff. The hummus was good and the Greek pizza was very good. The pizza was easily enough for two of us so, with the hummus, we ended up taking some home. A reasonable 24 pounds for both — tap water only beverage.

This is a simple, friendly place and though you won’t be wowed, it does the job very well for what it is. I came in here for lunch and had a nice feta/greek style pizza and a winter veg and halloumi salad and both were very good. I also partook of the mango smoothy, which had some rum in it. Very good and maybe even counted as one of my five fruits/veg! Yeah? Don’t be a hard ass! The environment was simple and clean and the service was friendly so as I said, no complaints. They serve brekkie until 3pm and it looked a good menu so I will definitely be back to check that out.

What an awesome café! Thanks Unilocal for leading me here. We took a short stroll from our hotel and came here for brunch. I guess there is an all day special of ordering entrees and getting a free drink. We got delicious coffees and the egg florentine and full english crêpe. The quality is outstanding and the service was wonderful. We enjoyed our time here and wish we could have been back for other meals.

Good service and wonderful decoration. I have recently been there for the first time and I was very impressed! The staff were attentive and helpful and the food was excellent. Me and my friends, we all had pizza and agreed that this is probably some of the best pizza in the Primrose Hill area.

Great little spot! The food is great and the prices are reasonable. There aren’t many other choices in the immediate vicinity, so it’s nice to have them as an option. The salmon Caesar salad was delicious and the pizzas got great reviews from the tables near us. I’ll swing by for breakfast sometime this week to check that out as well.

We found this place on Unilocal. We live in St Johns Wood and decided to give it a try early on a Saturday night with the kids. It’s a great room with nice light and an open kitchen where you can see them making the pizzas. We started with really flavorful and fresh bruschetta and cheesy garlic bread – both excellent. Our kids shared the delicious spaghetti carbonara and we shared the salad and a pizza with pepperoni and jalapenos. All was good. I felt like they could have used fresh jalapenos and the crust could be a bit crisper. The salad needed some more flavor and dressing but was good nonetheless. The pasta was really good and the crepes for desert were yummy! Overall, we loved this place and will definitely be back – great place to meet friends for dinner as well.

My hackles rose as soon as I arrived here and asked that the door, which was ajar on a cold and fairly windy night, be closed. It was explained to me, politely, that the restaurant is heated by the wood-burning ovens in the kitchen, which becomes unbearably hot without a flow of air. I didn’t believe this for a moment, but was soon proved wrong; the Primrose Eatery turned out to be just about the warmest restaurant I’ve eaten in north of the Equator. So, gentle reader, this restaurant is a hotspot for a cold winter’s night. For once, I fared much better than my non-vegan dining companions, who chose salmon(which looked nice but not very special) and the house salad, which looked nice but not very plentiful. I went for the Falafel sharing platter(yes, all to myself; vegans are always hungry didn’t you know?) and my request for extra falafel instead of halloumi was met cheerfully and generously. It turned out to be a brilliant choice genuinely stunning dish of freshly-made hummus, tabouleh, home-made falafel(with a little lick of tahini on the top), enough pitta bread that I didn’t need to ask for more) and some mixed leaves to freshen it up. Sublime. With two glasses of wine and an additional bottle thrown in(for food orders over £30), the bill for four came to £69, So that was one course each and 1 ½ bottles of wine for nearly £70. I didn’t try the pizzas but they looked superb. You can eat well here for under £20 per head, which isn’t bad at all for that neighbourhood. Recommended for winter. You may need to take a fan at other times of the year.

Based on reviews on Unilocal and TA we took a short walk from our hotel to The Primrose Eatery. The staff were very polite and created a relaxing atmosphere… not pushy or in your face. Good value for money; the portions are good in size and the quality is also good. The restaurant is clean and tidy and there are two big tv’s. We both felt really relaxed and managed to catch up on some XFactor at the same time. They have a proper stonebake oven in the kitchen, which you can see from the restaurant. All in all it was a good choice to go for dinner and we will definitely go back if we are back in the area.

When walking around there I stumbled upon Primrose Eatery. It looked nice, so I decided to go there for dinner, I was looking for a restaurant anyway. I had a delicious but a bit too medium cooked burger, chips and a glass of wine. It tasted really good, just the burger was medium grilled — if I would have known it, I would have told them that I want it well done. But even with a non too burger-like consistence the taste was very good. The Nutella Crêpe I ordered as dessert was nothing special, but still tasty. So another place in London I can recommend. THe place is nice, the food is good, and after your meal it’s only a short walk and you can enjoy the superior view from Primrose Hill. I want to go there again, to try their pizzas …

You can never write an accurate review of a place if you arrived there starving, gnawing on your own arm for sustenance. After the USA vs. Ghana game on Saturday night, I definitely drowned some sorrows and kept the motto alive that«eating is cheating». Sunday morning arrived complete with screaming tummies and a puddle of saliva on my pillow. Wow. I haven’t actually written anything about this restaurant yet. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Salmon eggs benedict and latkes. REAL, thick, oily latkes. And my companion’s steak sandwich with goat’s cheese was absolutely amazing. A strawberry banana smoothie(HUGE) and an iced coffee to top it all off. MMMmmmsters. Again, I take off a star due to the fact that we could’ve eaten some A4 paper and been moaning in ecstasy but the food DEFINITELY seemed fresh, TLC-made, and tas-tayyyyyyyyy. Have yet to try their signature wood-fired oven pizzas, but that’s fine since this place is 2 seconds from my flat. Hoo-ah.

I loved The Primrose Eatery. I had the pizza, crêpe, and cappuccino. The atmosphere is also great. It felt like home. Highly recommend this place.
