very easy to miss and walk right past it with out thinking that it’s even anything… then when you walk through it’s featureless door and along a small alleyway, you come to another door and whack your eyes are hit by a pleasant surprise of the sizeable venue and absorbing exhibition… it’s one the bigger galleries that i have been to around the brick lane area… they have different events sporadically so check their website… i definitely recommend a visit if your around the area… would i go back? yes

A fantastic old factory conversion with studio spaces available for affordable prices. The main gallery studios are always occupied with contemporary exhibitions/events/performance. I definitely recommend to go and have a look during the weekend. Last time I checked on Sunday they had a pop up restaurant and a fashion show next to each other.

Used a GPS system when walking there from the tube and still got lost. Anyway, when I got there for a workshop we were not in the Rag factory at all; they must own most spaces around there, because we have been put into various spaces all in walking distance. Sometimes a few turns away. Had art in the actual space, but it is a nice space and I see why people like going there and using it. Very much about being apart of the community with them.
