The atmosphere is too English and too traditional for my taste, but the food is really amazing. Small and simple menus but each item is crafted with a lot of thoughts and love for any meat lover. The Roast Beef Rib drenched with gravy is on a different level of awesome.

American style, English menu middle eastern tone. Roast beef is fabulous. Service is exemplary. Well worth visiting this establishment.

English food can be pretty tricky if you don’t bring your appropriate palette. The host and bartenders are wonderful here. They are very accommodating and helpful in all menu selections. I came in for a light lunch and midday cocktail. I ordered the caesar salad with chicken and tiger prawns. The ceasar salad is very anchovy tasting, which is fine because I find all ceasars in the UK to have that distinct flavor.(Seems to be less pronounced in the states for some reason) Tiger prawns were decent. They were loaded with seasoning, nuts and drizzled with a peanut sauce. Wine and Champs selection is great as well. Lots of options and the bartender has great opinions of them all.

Delicious, beef, amazing food. Super premium after dinner drinks. I was here a while ago and found their roast beef to be unbelievably good as well as their other items. The staff was very friendly and allowed me to save the empty wine bottles we finished(I collect labels) Their after dinner drink selections were incredible and way more than I could afford, even though their markup is lower than many other places. I wish this place were closer to home, but I am across the pond and don’t manage to get over to the UK very often

Writing this review so close to lunch time is like torture but I’m going to go ahead and write it anyway… This place is pricey so be prepared to splash out on a meal here(or, even better, get someone else to treat you!) Before dinner I sampled the Sloane Street Vesper cocktail which was a delicious and potent martini — exactly how I like my drinks. I could not have had more than one of these bad boys — it was seriously strong. I went the whole hog and indulged myself with a starter, main AND dessert(can you tell I wasn’t paying?) To begin I had the Orkney scallops with butternut squash and a big fat slice of apple-glazed bacon. The scallops were melt-in-your-mouth and pairing them with the sweet squash and savoury bacon worked a treat — I’d definitely look into trying to recreate this dish myself! For my main I had the lamb cutlets with roasted tomatoes, mushrooms and fries which was very tasty although I’ll be honest, after seeing other people’s meals I wish I’d gone for the steak — it looked juicy and delicious! And dessert… oh you know how I love my dessert… I went for the Black Forest Chocolate Delice. Rich, decadent and seriously scrum-diddly-umptious. Come here and indulge in a meal fit for a king — just be prepared for a price tag fit for Sloane Street!
