This café /restaurant is brilliant. you can have a average meal for a good price, but the best bit is definitely the atmosphere because the people are lovely and the service is quick and sharp. They are always smiling and happy to see you.
On the menu I normally have egg beans chips and mushrooms but you can have a range of meals from bubble and squeak to a quarter pounder …

Really is 5* Amazing interior. Fantastic food! We took advantage of a promotion — £40 for 3 courses. We got sweets at the end too. Chestnut Souflee and rum ice cream was amazing!

The girl in the previous review is obviously talking about somewhere else. Champaign? Cakes? Band? More tea and coffee and greasy food! Not bathrooms at all!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. We got the champagne tea. The tea, sandwiches, and cakes were all amazing!!! As an American it was a lot of fun getting to do the full English tea. The entire room was absolutely beautiful and the string quartet was even playing songs from «oklahoma!» (which I got a real kick out of).
I had such a blast at this place. Never before have finger sandwiches tasted so tasty. The service was great. My boyfriend and I were, however, reminded of Inglorious Bastards when we were there. We would have been the ones giggling in the corner.
If you go, make sure to use the bathrooms before you leave. They are, in and of themselves, pretty impressive.

Mega portions and always busy no matter what time you go.
