After an afternoon of stumbling around all the thrift and vintage shops we could find on our path, my flatmate and i were looking for a nice treat to reward ourselves for walking a lot. And there’s nothing we like more than a good fro-yo(that’s how they say it in Los Angles). It’s fat free and it tastes as good as ice cream. I swear. The Sloane Bros is a big shop, very well lightened and very pretty with it’s joyful colours decorating the(very) white walls. The man in charge(who was really nice) came to us to offer to taste the different flavours of frozen yogurt they had according to our tastes. I don’t like sweet so he gave me natural and the vegan FY(a fro-yo made of coconut milk with slight taste of pineapple). Both were delicious, plus the tasting cup is quite generous to be honest. I like that they have a dairy-free version either for vegans or dairy intolerant persons. Plus, the really flimsy taste of coconut doesn’t assault your tastebuds while still making just enough impression. Lovely. We opted for the natural flavour, which for once, compared to other shops i’ve came across didn’t feel bitter. He served us quite a generous amount, add to that fruits, granola and chocolate chips toppings and you have a good idea of nirvana(am i outdoing it ?). All in all this cost us £4.9 each(small cup is £2.95 + £0.65 per topping). Fro-yo is a bit expensive but worth an occasional guilt-free treat ! They also make waffles, crumpets, hot drinks, smoothies and already-made recipes for your frozen yogurt. NB: Find other prices and information on my pictures !
