This place is a treasure. we had the hummus and taramasalata to start. gorgeous! and plenty of pitta. we also ordered the halloumi starter which was divine. so divine that we ordered ANOTHER PORTION. it was sort of fried and jus. t to. die. for. if you are heading here then please do your tastebuds a favour and order it! veggie moussaka was great and staff were delightful too.

Thoroughly enjoyed a trip to this local restaurant– it was very friendly and welcoming. The host was very genuine and made a real difference to the place. There wasn’t a huge amount if variety within the menu but the options I and my partner are were tasty she reasonably priced. All in all this was a good option for a relaxed meal

Great atmosphere as soon as we walked in, busy and bustling with a friendly hum of upbeat banter around. A decent wine list all at reasonable price and a tasty selection of mezze and mains meant the only difficult part of the evening was narrowing down your selections before the waitress came. I had the mixed grill, simply plated yet flavoursome and filling — also was sharing the calamari with my boyfriend which was very light. Good food aside, this is the type of place you can amble down to with friends or family and just chat & relax in a warm and welcoming environment. An enjoyable night ;-)

Taste of Cyprus is my local favourite. Its like stepping into a Cypriote restaurant. The music is traditional, the staff are funny and smiley and the food is reasonable and honest.
I always order the fish meze & my boyfriend orders Meat Meze. At roughly £17 each its a bargain.
You start with olives, tramasalata, hummous, cold garlic mushrooms, tzatizi, prawn cocktail, Greek salad to name a few all served with sesame seed bread and pitta.
When that is whisked away the hot mezes arrive… fried whitebait, scampi, hallumi, garlic king prawns, squid, meatballs, etc
You are then greeted with the main course, the fish is sea bass, steamed with rice and salad and is always perfectly moist and a treat to eat!
