A cozy restaurant with an upscale vibe sits just off Kensington High Street. The menu fits easily on one page yet is complete. British fare is featured with an emphasis on locally sourced food. And what a success they make of it. The mullet with crispy shrimp was flavored just enough without the overwhelming sauce which so often accompanies a fish dish. What a joy! Every bit a pleasure. My friend enjoyed her gnocchi. Beautifully presented as well. The desserts were excellent. The beignets the were served along with the buttermilk pudding and poached rhubarb would rival any served in New Orleans. The service was warm, yet professional. I could find no faults. You won’t regret a visit!

Most recent visit was to try the Sunday lunch menu. Food: best beef roast and apple tart I have ever had. The quality and taste was perfect even though there was a dozen of us. Drinks: we had the prosecco and it went really well with our food Service: very attentive Price: very reasonable and I consider it great value for the food quality and service
