This is my go to curry place. The quality and flavour of the dishs are just fantastic. If i ever move from the area it will be hard to find an Indian takeaway place that can deliver the standard and quality of the food that this place does. I recommend any of the lamb dishes, there lamb has a great flavour and and a kind of smokey taste really adds a full depth of flavour to the curry.

Our regular go-to for great Indian food. Each meal tastes really fresh, the spinach based ones use fresh spinach(try the prawn himalai) and the naan bread is delicious. Not the best if you want super hot spicy but great flavours and fresh ingredients. You also get free poppdoms.

I’ve never actually been to the restaurant, but I used to order delivery when we lived around Islington. While we love where we live now, we definitely miss being able to order from The Tiffin Tin! We found Tiffin Tin after trying a few local takeaways that really disappointed us and researching heavily into some worth trying(yep, think checking multiple review sites and such). So glad we finally found Tiffin Tin! I love the veg madras — very substantial, but also fresh and well cooked. The ingredients also taste a lot fresher and better than the others we had tried. Though it is bit pricier for that, at least you can taste why. I liked their Jalfrezi as well, but kept going back to the madras because I love it. It’s a little sad that we now live out of their delivery area, but hey, at least I can spread the love!

THE best Indian takeaway in North London, bar none. The curries are some of the freshest and well balanced I have ever tried, always delivered promptly and with a brown paper bag of complimentary poppadoms. Their chicken is beautifully cooked and succulent, as is the lamb(try the badami-delish). Agree with other reviews re. The naan, which could be less doughy, but in summary if you are reading this and fancy a curry I implore you to call them now!

It’s snowing… in March, ruddy March! I have a cold… bluergh There is no way I’m leaving the flat this weekend so Tiffin Tin to the rescue. I’d always passed this rather classy looking takeaway on the way to work and old memories of having actual lunchtime ‘tiffin tins’ on childhood visits to india made me need to try this place. No complaints there, the food itself was excellent, The king prawn pathia had a really well spiced non creamy sauce with great prawns and the sekuwa murgh kebab was a tasty chicken tandoori. The paloong side just added was a great side but the sqid kalipare(calamares) was a little soggy though that may be due to the long trek of finding our flat(the flat is a little too secluded for its own good) The only other complaint was that the food took a bit of time and the I thought the yoghurt sauce was quite sweet. The portions were big but not huge as others have described with a £25 spend(one main and 3 sides/starters) filing two of us perfectly. So just like the tiffin boxes of my childhood the Tiffin Tin of Tuffnell Park will continue to feed me.

This is THE best takeaway Curry you can buy in North London. The flavours are extraordinary, and converted even my curry hating girlfriend. Some of the dishes come with barbecued meat which adds a gorgeous smokey flavour to an already brilliant tasting curry. Points to improve upon would be — speed of delivery, the fact that the food isn’t often piping hot upon receipt, and also that the breads are almost always soft, moist and doughy — avoid them. Tiffin Tin — if you read this, you need to improve the bread.

Great curry(the paneer sag is excellent) and normally really good service but occasionally they seem a bit rushed.

Turns out having a 2 day hangover is the perfect reason to buy a huge indian! Having tried many other takeaways in the area, i loathe the«generic» out the bottle, creamy bog standard tastes that you can expect to get. Having ordered from the Tiffin Tin, i was pleasantly surprised. I ordered some Lamb Somosas & murgh lasune with some Naan and some boiled rice(as i was watching my diet after having had a big drinking session and a takeaway the day before, and the only thing that could label my weekend as «unhealthy» would be the type of rice i ate…) The Lamb Somosas where nice and hot, a nice level of spice. The Main dish the murgh lasune was a very nice dish indeed. There was a nice amount of masala to accompany the chicken so it wasnt a dry dish, nice amount of veg to chicken ratio, with a nice amount of chilli, enough for you to taste the different favours yet enough to also remind abou the spice. All in all i will definitely be going back to this restaurant, highly recommend!

Tasty, reliable Indian which is mid-priced and quick to deliver. Always comes piping hot and with some extra chutneys and poppadums included, they are our Indian-go-to. There are all the usuall suspects of currys but also some really tasty and highly recommended bbq meats and the vege options are fantastic. Yum, YUM!
