The Union Regents Place

I came here for a few drinks and a small bite to eat. We didn’t eat anything but we did drink and we drank a lot. The drinks are reasonably priced, the drinks were well made as we only had spirits and mixers. We had a good time and it was a good pub.

Good drink selection, friendly staff and even table service if you can catch someone’s eyes. Tables can be booked which is probably a good idea if there on a Friday just after work like I was. The fact that it was fairly busy added to the atmosphere but also the wait at the bar.
I didn’t try any food so can’t comment on that, maybe next time as I’m sure I will be back.

So, I work for a marketing agency. If you know nothing about marketing agencies, know only this… we drink… A LOT!
When we moved into our new building last year, we were promised «new, exciting places to eat». What they clearly had no clue on, was that they would be putting a bar on the ground floor of our building. Needless to say, this place will be a goldmine for The Union Bar & Grill (same as the one in Paddington and no relation the any of the Grand Union bars).
They have a really big space with plenty of tables, good selection beers both on tap and in the bottle along with a pretty solid selection of mixed faire. While I haven’t eaten there yet, the menu looked quite good.
Overall, the Union seems to be a solid place to grab a cheeky pint after work or a long lunch. To be honest, I will likely frequent this place just due to the close proximity of being five floors below my office!
