A friend raved about this place when I moved to the area, so taking his experienced advice I went to try Three Horseshoes myself. He could not stop taking about it, how the food was great(home cooked) This pub is always busy and there is a barbecue Friday afternoon(I guess to usher in the weekend with pork). You can sit outside in the courtyard out back. There is a front courtyard also available. Smoking is allowed in both, which I was not thrilled with because I have sensitive lungs. This pub sells Carlsberg on tap, not my favourite but it went down okay. There’s nothing special inside just chairs and tables and no sofas or comfortable chairs. I don’t mind this place, but it’s clearly a locals pub. I would come back here but I wouldn’t go out my way. It’s my Local but not my Local if you catch my drift.
