Rating des Ortes: 2 Maida Vale, London, United Kingdom
This is one of a few maida vale restaurant chain(others are maguro, Gogi) owned by a Korean owner. I live around the corner so been there multiple times– overall, there is no really service spirit and it is very over priced for what it is… Very average coffee, store bought pastries and a few sandwiches and to go deli. I prefer to go to Daniela’s for much less… Although their coffee is not any better, at least it is much less price :-)

When I saw the ad of Toast in Warwick Avenue tube station, I was a bit suspicious. Not many local businesses put ads up on the local tube station. When I was doing my laundry some weeks ago at the Formosa launderette( ) just next to Toast, I went to Toast when I waited for my laundry. And it is actually a nice café that offers good food and okay coffee. You could also get fresh juice and free wifi. All in all, a place to keep in mind when you look for a café in the area.

Although the space can be a bit cramped, Toast offers a good selection of bread, cakes, and sandwiches. Top marks are earned by their version of Spanish Toast — its worth the trip. Also top marks to their staff — the right balance of friendliness and efficiency.

Lovely coffee shop with delicious bakery goods, quiche and even Sushi from their sister restaurant Naguro.
