Attend various Toni & Guys so thought I would pop in for a fringe trim(usually costing around £6). Simply requested a fringe trim and ‘Edmond’ the only hairdresser in the salon suggested I trim my whole head due to «split ends» and that I needed more than just a trimmed fringe, and insisted I cut my hair. I said I just wanted a fringe trim. He then proceeded to cut reshaping the front of my hair not even touching the fringe. I very much dislike when hairdressers put pressure on clients so I would not recommend this salon and will not be returning. Expected more from such a brand and I was charged £12 for something I didn’t even want!

So I needed a root touch-up badly and being a fan of Toni & Guy in Berlin, I thought, hey, it’s in the neighborhood I’m staying in London, so why not? Well, now I’ll tell you why not. A rushed colorist and I discussed what I wanted her to do: touch up the roots, tone down a yellowing blond. Picked the L’Oreal colors and off she went. She overtimed me — didn’t set a timer — not smart, nor professional. But then, after an assistant poured on the toner, guess what color my hair(normally honey blond) became? GREEN! And it wasn’t even St. Patrick’s Day yet! The assistant was absolutely horrible: a brute, ruffian fatty is probably a better description. When she managed to turn my green head into a messy frizz ball, I finally asked for the manager. Two re-tones and three hours later, with 69 pounds sterling less in my wallet, I left the salon, never to return. That’s a promise. And I hope you avoid this nightmarish ‘salon’ too! My hair is fried.
