Unfortunately Top Catering has really gone downhill in the last year. A few months ago we ordered from them, and instead of the usual hour wait, it took longer than an hour and a half. And when we received the food it was congealed and not very nice. Luckily when we called them, they reimbursed our money, so we were willing to order from them again. Then last night we decided to order again. After an hour, I get a call from the delivery driver asking where our flat was. I told him. So he calls up again five minutes later, saying he was outside the flat. I told him to go in and call up using the box so I can buzz him in. He then says, that he’s not outside our flat, where is our flat? So I tell him. Then there’s nothing. So I look out the window. I finally see him checking out every flat complex except ours. By now it’s been about 15 minutes since the original call so we know the food isn’t going to be as good. I then see him get into his car and drive off. I tried phoning him back, but he didn’t answer. So we call the business and explain, and say that we’re worried the food isn’t going to be very nice, we’d like a discount. They said they would call the driver and get back to us. After another five minutes or so(so twenty minutes now) he finally finds our flat. The other half checks out the food, says some of it isn’t hot anymore, we’d like a discount. So he says no, so we give the food back. Then he calls back after another five minutes to tell us he can give us one. Now it’s been almost a half an hour since it should have arrived and we know the food is already not good, and we tell him again we don’t want it, but he kind of argues with us on the phone. We don’t take the food. Needless to say, they used to do a really good job, lately not so much. We’ll be looking for another delivery place. Which is unfortunate because the food(when it wasn’t late and cold) was very nice.
